Oh, wow! My little girl is only 3 so I didn't know off the top of my head and looked up the back to school dates for my area. One city school just East of my town started back on July 24th.


When I was in school, we always started the day after Labor Day. We also used at least 2 or 3 snow days every year, but that almost never happens anymore. Things have changed.

We start the day after Labour Day and go until the last week of June. We have 2 weeks off at Christmas and a week in March, as well as Easter weekend. A few long weekend holidays in the middle.
