ORIGINAL: Aman_now i decided to post this in the salvation area. sorry moderators. I disagree. I think the moderators are first rate here in the forums. The subject of your apology thread, being re-saved... That would certainly depend on who was doing the saving, and how much harm you sought to put yourself in after being taken away from it. For instance, if you are rescued from a burning building, and decide you kind of liked it in there and go and run back in. Chances are, the firefighter who risked his life to save you the first time is not going to charge back in a second time. Maybe, however, you (being the person of the example, not yourself) are seen as being an eminent threat to your very existence, and the firefighter ties a heavy rope around your ankle and then to something you can't for the life of you slip off. Then when you go to race back inside, you really fall short right on your face, bloody your nose, and knock yourself unconscious. Were you saved by the firefighter who read your personality correctly the first time again with your second attempt, or do you give the credit to the rope instead? However, if you are talking about being saved by grace through faith in God's only Son Jesus, and you realize you are a new creation through Him, let's just consider this again. How big is your God? Is He big enough that the things He does are done, and that's that? Or is He one that starts something, then picks it back up later when He feels like it? What does the Bible tell you about God? Right! In the begining, He made everything. With that on your resume, do you think He's going to have to redo anything? That's what you have to ask yourself if this is a Christian theology post. My answer is no, a person cannot be re-saved, not by God. Once and for all, and that's all that's needed. Nor can he or she be re-banished by God. God does not want anyone banished, and the form of the location of banishment He made to do just what it needs to do. Also, I would give the firefighter credit for saving the person twice. Inanimate ropes don't save people. Recycled? Yuck. No. Reshaped? Yuck. Yes. Replaced? Ouch! Not entirely. Everyone is unique, even if your name ends in iqe. Resucitated? Yes. Rehydrated? Yes, with lots of competition on this one. Remissed? Yes. Redirected? Yes. Reinvented? No. Reverbed? If you are a speaker, yes. Retired? Yes Retried? Yes Reaped? I think there's a Grim out there to do this. Resounded? Not a pleasant thing there. Repeat? There were two brothers, Pete and Repeat. Pete had to leave. Who was left? Revolution? no Restoration? sure Resigned? usually not voluntarily Hey! These are pretty fun!
