Anyone watching?
I have to admit I hated the last Big Brother but seems like as much as there are still a lot of young people this time, it's great to see a 75 year old man and a nutty 50 something year old woman from New Orleans, plus a Catholic school teacher and a Pastor's kid.

Note- please leave this thread on people who actually watches the show...if you know what I mean?

I'm an addict, but I don't admit it in Christian circles.

Yup. I'm watching. I hated last season, but am willing to give this season a chance. I think it's cool that they have an old guy. You can already see some of the guys "trying" to be Dr. Will. It's a funny attempt. Sad about the Catholic guy's comment about just going to confessional. However, it would be almost impossible I think to be on a show like this, and stay true to your Christian faith.

I didn't watch it because the last one made me so sick.

I think it may be time to say goodbye to the show for me.

2shaye...I have a secret show, too, that I don't tell anyone about

So far, it hasn't made me sick yet but I agree the last BB was just over the line. I hope with the diversity this time, it'll make more interesting.

'was not surprised with Bryan leaving and I did like him at first. But then pulling a Dr. Will when it's been done...what in the world was he thinking???? I like how when Jerry decided to put Bryan and made a comment on how he will not be wearing his Marine hat because he'll be breaking his word.... like my hubby says (and the rest of former Marines)- once a Marine, always a Marine.

I'm watching! I hated last season so much that I actually quit watching a few episodes in (which I've never done before), but I'm on board (so far!) this season. I'm really glad the girls were able to recognize what Brian was doing, and put a stop to it. However, I have a feeling Ollie's going to face some consequences for flopping so easily. I mean, he sort-of had to do it, but it happened almost too easily.

BTW ... am I the only one who can't stand Julie Chen?!?! They need to get a HUMAN BEING to host this show.

I like her on what she's suppose to be really doing in the morning show but not for this show. I believe Julie Chen's married to the CBS big boss. I don't get the live audience this season. I did not watch the first season of BB and I read that they did have a live audience. Does Julie needed the sound of applause?

Maybe it's supposed to bring a human element to the Thursday shows ... otherwise, it's just her standing there awkwardly (half-sideways) on a silent soundstage, smiling her painted-on smile and reading the cue cards ("BUT FIRST ... !").

I to was glad that Brian got the boot. That's what happens when you audition for a show that you've never seen, and than try to copy the stratagey of an all star. Lame. Anyway, it will be interesting to see what the new HOH does. I don't have a fav. or dislike yet. Question for everyone, should we have a BB10 spoiler board like we did for BB8? (sorry for the bad spelling/gramer everyone)

I thought the puppet socks were funny. For now, I'm going for the Portuguese girl since she's just keeping herself laying low but that will change once we know more about them. The spoilers...I usually don't check the spoilers until halfway through the game but a spoiler thread would be fine with me also.

The puppets were creative I agree. He had a bunch of other creative things planned as well. As he said, it gets really boring in there. I can start a spoiler board, but first (sorry, I couldn't resist) what do the rest of you think?

A separate spoiler thread would be a good idea. There are always people who can't wait to spill some big news ... and always those who don't want to know ahead of time!

Jess is way too much of himself. I don't think it's required for the houseguests to be in the HOH room for show and tell and it just hurt his ego so he was voting Steven for that???
And Ollie...I hope he doesn't fall into that showmance with April.
I'm not sure if I respect Jerry's decision of being in the BB house and his wife's with Parkinson's. But then when I read his profile, he's been a fan of the show from the beginning and I'm going to assume that his wife did encourage him. Someone has to educate Libra that 'hospice' is different from a 'nursing home'
Memphis is starting to look like Will Ferrell

Agreed that Jessie is way to full of himself. However, I see going to the HOH room as a sign of respect, and being polite. I think it's rude not to go. Besides, the house gets so boring so quicklly that at least it's something new. I don't think that's the reason he put up Steven.
As for Ollie and April....well....I'll post in the spoiler thread I'm going to create b/c I don't know how much or what BB will show/talk about

That yelling from Libra last night....way too loud! I guess that's what happens when you get a slop for over a week

It was dumb of Jerry to go after Libra. The others are already wanting him out, and going after Libra didn't help him any.

Btw- I'm wondering if Dan's shirt (well at least a couple of them) St Mary's is where he teaches. I just thought that it's odd if he's wearing a shirt from the school where he teaches especially for a Catholic school. I remember going to Catholic school and we were not even allowed to wear the school's uniform when going to the mall. But then maybe time has changed.

What do you think about Ollie, the preacher's son, having sex on national TV with a woman he just met (April)?

Ollie has had sex with April at least twice in front of cameras (see YouTube). How do you think his actions reflect on Christianity, if at all?

(Remember, Ollie is the one who raised the issue of his religion and its importance).

It's wrong and something that they will regret later especially him.

Ollie has also said many times that he needs to make up for lost time, and it looks like he's making good on that.

I just realized something tonight - Keesha reminds me so much of Danielle (Evil Dick's daughter). They can be sisters (Danielle is very skinny though) and they even talk and sounds the same way.

I knew there was something familiar about Keesha that reminded me of someone else. Wow, almost scary.

Everybody says that about Keesha, but I don't really see it (neither does Danielle). So, what did everyone think about the nominations?
