ORIGINAL: PrincessDonna We did go to the lake and it was wonderful. No one complained about sandwiches for dinner either.[;)] Ohh, well, the lake had to be a huge treat. We used to go to the lake with our entire family when I was growing up. I mean grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a blast. We would get there early and cook eggs and panckakes on the little tabletop gas stove and stay all day. Lunch and dinner were almost always hot dogs and sandwiches. Today I didn't cook. I was gone so DH gave the girls something. Jake is by his dad's and I just didn't really feel like eating when I got home. I did just have a granola bar though so that is either dinner or a snack. I like to make sandwiches for dinner though. I buy different types of cheese, lunchmeat, lettuce, tomatos, mustard (whatever kind sounds good) mayo, and club rolls. Then everybody gets to make whatever kind of sandwich they want, and the leftovers are used for lunch for the rest of the week. It works out great.
