Home made chicken noodle soup. I roasted a chicken last week. I made the broth and got the meat off of my chicken carcus. It's Wed. so the kids eat at my parents and I try to grab a quick meal somewhere before AWANA. I will take the broth and chicken to my mom's house and she will make home made noodles to add to it. My kids won't eat chicken noodle soup with store bought noodles and I can't make them well: and don't have the patience to make them. It's win win for all. My parents get a meal half provided and the kids don't eat hot pockets or hamburger helper for dinner...and I get dinner.

Mom on strike?

We had subs. A local grocery has them for cheaper than buying the ingredients and we're minus a couple kids tonight, so only needed two.

Last night was western style ribs and potatoes. Threw them in the crockpot before we went running all over during the day.

Oh, Krystal, that sounds SO GOOD! I've wanted to try my hand at chile relleno, but yours sounds so much better.

(And I cannot for the life of me find poblano peppers in our local stores!)

Chicken bruschetta bake, from the fall Kraft magazine. It was good except I have texture issues and the stuffing ended up like mush. Next time, I'll use less water and put it all on top instead of mixing it in.
