SirWintery -> wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 10:41:37 AM)

[sm=icon_smile_cold.gif]Welcome to a place to chill. Check out what I've got going on today or post whatever you like.

SirWintery -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 10:42:44 AM)

Suggestion for today: Do something valuable with your online time, like checking out one of my favorites.

Qtman -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 10:43:20 AM)

Glad you started a PFC thread of your own. However don't forget the ones you have been posting in.

bluestone -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 10:43:31 AM)

Good morning, Wintery. Did you have chuckled for breakfast, or horrendous coffee at that other place you frequent?
Nice to see you have your own spot!

SirWintery -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 10:45:41 AM)

My current avatar, which will no doubt change soon as I always do, is the state bird of Alabama, the yellowhammer.

Thank you brother...I always want to pronounce your login as "cutie man"! I know others will agree.[:D]

Thank you, I don't know what chuckled is. I got Jack's and will save my gripes about another place for another time.

bluestone -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 10:50:03 AM)

The spell checker change Chikfilet to chuckled. Mm. better turn that thing off!

SirWintery -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 10:51:46 AM)

Just in case anyone was wondering, "Was there an earthquake near me this week?"

Bookmark the map for later reference.

That's what I always call him.

So glad to see you started this thread, Wintery. Even though we've never been in disagreement (to my knowledge), it will be nice to interact with you in a more casual environment than the Church folder...particularly "The TB Lakeland Revival" thread!![sm=icon_smile_yikes.gif]

P.S. I like your birdy!

You're welcome here. I've always liked your style.

SirWintery -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 11:00:21 AM)

Now I have a real dilemma in that I wonder if it's possible to be off-topic in my own personal thread.[&:]

armydude -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 11:01:39 AM)

In order to be off topic, one must first have a topic.[:D]

I'm in that area where you can't see the coastline because of all the earthquakes, but we're so used to them, they don't even stir us from our sleep unless they're a magnitude 5 or more. Yawn!

bluestone -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 11:04:55 AM)

I don't want to live near earthquake areas, or volcanoes. I am skeered.
I will stick to hurricanes and tornadoes.

Interesting...I looked that one up for everyone's benefit but I refer to the one from the University of Memphis. It shows how many have happened in the past six months.

Wise words. Hey armydude! Thanks for dropping by! LOL! I typed "dripping" by and fixed it!

You wouldn't actually stick to them, you'd be tossed away![:D]

After looking at that map, I'd think I'd be a little nervous if I lived in Puerto Rico!

[sm=icon_smile_yikes.gif] What's up with that? That's a lot of quakes in a week.

Keith Green had an inspiring love for Christ. I saw him once in Birmingham--I think. Anyway it was on one of his last concert appearances.

SirWintery -> RE: wintery's cooler (7/16/2008 12:20:47 PM)

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)

Sometimes it's good to remember these things.
