See Wintery, I was right . . . you really should write a book. On anything. I bet it would be a best-seller.

So complimentary...maybe I should hire you as my Tony Robbins.

I like fried bologna sandwiches.

And I can make them myself.

You're way above my head, as a guru should be.

I wish I still had my blog about helping my friend understand what's involved in making a quick sandwich. Maybe I can find it on one of those internet way-back sites.

Anyway, you're too kind. Thanks.

(I amused perhaps two people today. My effort was not wasted!)

Kerr needs no man to instruct him on sandwich-making!

It's good to be home in this icebox.

Sometimes other threads seem more icy to me than I would like.

Moving along, and slightly backward to Subway again, they have some Scrabble game going on right now, and in the two trips in the last three weeks I've made to the downtown Subway, I have collected two letter "R"'s, a "no-you-didn't-win" and........................

...a free cookie.

I'm not big on cookies. I think I lost the free cookie sticker or I'd offer to mail it to one of you.

It's hard to get a good one if you don't make it yourself.

I remember when my father was sick in the hospital and wouldn't eat anything. He said all he really wanted was a fried bologna sandwich.

By some miracle, the little lunch counter (not the cafeteria) at the hospital was able to make a fried bologna sandwich. It may have been the last meal he really enjoyed.

I was so happy that I cried in the hall.

Stubbornly stuck on a sandwich theme:

I just got back from the downtown Subway.

Six-inch Prime Rib on wheat, no cheese, toasted...spicy mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickle, black olives, jalapenos, salt and pepper.

It was okay.

Now it's my kind of sandwich. Had one Tuesday night for supper.

Pizza at Subway? That is news here. I'm not too big on pizza though. Glad you found something you like and nice to hear from you!

Just saw your post. It was a inch sub. Subway has what my wife say are good personal pan pizzas. I would not know since I am allergic to cheese.

Mainly a See Food diet.

My fingers are not as fast as my brain. And that is no compliment to my fingers. I left out the 6.

Those inch subs fit neatly in a little zip lock snack bag. I would only need about 27 of those a day to survive.

Moving on from sandwiches for now:

What does it mean to be right? To be told that one is right?

Several times those who have doubted me (on subjects that don't even matter or some that do) have strangely bothered months later to tell me, you know, you were right. Well, whoopee. I get no prize for that. I don't know for what reason they pay their penance of acquiescing, nor does it make me believe that I am always right.

Generally it's a good idea to just not blather about things you don't know about. Then you can speak firmly about what you do know about, thus giving the appearance that you are very knowledgeable indeed.

If you don't know just say so.
