I think he should make a public statement on the board. People who don't want to know can close their ears.

Or eyes.

hmmmmmmmmmm, I never noticed the beard. I suppose now that my guess of Glen Allred with the Florida Boys was totally off base. Now I really am wondering. I won't get to go to NQC though so it definitely has to be revealed online too. for the rest of us.

Doyle Lawson is seeming like a much better bet at this point.

Well, I didn't vote because I'm okay either way. or am I ???

After he, (yeah just gotta' be a "he", I think, yeah a "he") came out of "lurkersville" last year and began posting, I was soooo far off base with my guesses of who it might be and decided to stop torturing myself by guessing or thinking too much about it...now the pressure's on again and will probably find out here in about 8 weeks... or maybe I'll close my eyes & ears and let the mystery remain...lol

No decision here...I'm just one of those people who have to know.

Sony, what you are saying is if we are not at NQC we don't find out who he is???? So if some of us have to work and can't go, just tough luck. Think about what you posted. Is that supposed to be fair to all or just for the priviledged that could make the NQC?

I guess that did sound bad, didn't it. What I mean is that the "revealing" could be at NQC but, at that point, he could also let those on here who want to know know. Maybe he should start a thread and those who don't want to know wouldn't have to read it.

Actually, Amerigrandpa can leave a secret message in a post (after NCQ, of course) so that those who aren't there but want to know can know, and those who like the mystery don't have to read the post.

Just type the message, highlight it, then click the "color" button above the font size box in the response window.

When the colors come up, scroll to the bottom and choose one of the whitest colors.

Then, say something like "Highlight below to see who I am"

Like this:

Highlight to read the secret message below:

Ice cream has no bones.

Good instructions. But as far as your secret message goes you never had homemade ice cream my siste had anything to do with.

The Story. My mom used to use old milk cartons to freeze water in for use as ice in the ice cream freezer and to use in coolers etc.

My dad would occcsionally freeze fish the same way. My sister went after ice one night and got the wrong milk cartons. Vanila ice cream that smells like fish is not very good. and it may have had bones.

O/k. my sister was never one of the sharpest knives in the drawer.

I'm sure having you as a brother didn't help her situation in the least did it???

::note to self: do not *ever* send Sam's sister for ice::

Roosevelt would like a scoop of that fish ice cream if there is any left.

Ok, I am not making any more guesses. IF the picture used in the avatar is of Amerigrandpa, I KNOW who he is. Just so happens I was googling the internet this morning and ran across that very suit and tie, and the man who was wearing it.

But I'll keep my mouth shut. I feel almost like a 6 year old that wants to yell "I KNOW SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW" to those who are still guessing. Now if that avatar is a fake I'm gonna cry. I'll patiently wait to see if I'm right or if I've been duped!

Wow, unbelievable, and to think I thought I knew who it was at first!

MYSTERY IS OVER FOR ME TOO! The exact outfit can be found on the web. Don't ask me, let him tell you when he wants to, but there's nothing like out-foxing a mystery man.

Yep, I agree!

<<<<Edit>>>>>Just to clarify I agree with Dagwat that the exact suit and tie have been found on the internet being worn by an artist.

BigChief I'm sorry if you took that the wrong way. What I meant was that the real Big Chief (after whom ours is undoubtedly named) died in 1973.

I did not mean to suggest that the saints in Heaven were logging into the forum and posting here.

Hey I'm getting the hang of this forum thing.

I don't know which one I should get even with first Amerigrandpa for insinuating I might be dead or Ps103 for thinking it was so funny. I may have to consult white buffalo for guidance.
