Bobby, that freaked me out . . . my picture was the first thing that popped up on the screen!

Same here!!!!!!

After realizing how what I wrote sounded like, I started to edit it . . . but then decided to leave it for y'all's entertainment. Consider it a gift.

Well upon closer inspection I must say (1) if the picture is actually of the poster, then (2) it does look like Doyle Lawson. Beard, parted gray/white hair hair combed to to the same side as Mr. Lawson, and a partially-receding hairline, with wavy hair.

Sound like a criminal report?
No...It sounds like Gary aka Utilityfielder!!! Sorry Gary...I couldn't resist saying that!

I have to agree with you though...if it isn't Doyle Lawson then the picture sure looks like him even with that silly ? on his face.

That is OK Lynn. Could he be my doppelganger?

Did you delete your post asking if I was BigChief?

Oops...yes I did...before I realized you had answered it...I figured since you both like being mysterious and hide behind your non-identifying avatar...

Hello everyone. It looks like enough results are in that we can call this poll. I will announce my identity at the Forums gathering, or if for whatever reason I have another commitment come up, I will transmit a letter which one of you can read aloud.

I did not send Adam my picture; he found a picture somewhere. I am not saying whether the picture he used is of me or whether he is one of the three who knows.

My apologies to those of you who were out-voted. As long as QTman doesn't reveal my friend BigChief's identity, at least there will be some mystery left on the boards once my questionmark is replaced with a smile.

But do we look alike?

I don't have time to read all the pages on this thread but, in case no one else has suggested it, it occurs to me that you could set up a meeting place to reveal yourself to all those attending NQC who want to know who you are. Then you could remain a mystery to everyone else.

Sony, what you are saying is if we are not at NQC we don't find out who he is???? So if some of us have to work and can't go, just tough luck. Think about what you posted. Is that supposed to be fair to all or just for the priviledged that could make the NQC?

Well Mrs. Forums Moderator I did not find it humorous at all. I just finished a physical and my doctor found a heart beat, blood pressure and two breathing lungs. So I have concluded I am not dead.

He He He. Is it just me or is there a Country song in that statement. I can see Kenny Chesney singing it now. "No Yacht, No Yurt, No Problem."

Sorry BigChief.

It may or may not be Amerigranpa with the question mark over his face, but I still stand by my guess that this picture is Doyle Lawson!!! If you look closely, you can even see someone in a matching suit standing behind him. So, it is obviously a singer.

And don't forget the hair, the necktie style, the beard, etc. I am a cop. I pick up on these things pretty easily.

Doyle Lawson it is!!! LOL

I didn't think so before, but if it is indeed him in the pic, it does resemble him. Doyle Lawson it might be!!

Santa, I don't think Sony meant to be mean or exclusive. I think she was just trying to let people who didn't want to know, and who attended NQC Meet-and-Greet to be able to keep that preference.

I know she was not being mean. Sony could never be mean. Just some of us can't make NQC but might want to know.

I think he should make a public statement on the board. People who don't want to know can close their ears.

I think so, too. I hope he reveals his identity to everyone, and not just the folks at NQC.
