Dave Ramsey is on several stations, you can also listen on the net. Just search his name and you should find his page. I personally would also suggest checking Clark Howard. While he is not a Christian (that I know of) he has great advice, and he is a great source for getting to know your rights as a debtor. Clark has a web site and you can call his group for off air advice. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf That is one place to see what your rights are. Read through it and see if you are being treated right. I know that it is not a good spot to be in, and it might look pretty bleak right now. However, don't get discouraged. If you know that your husband is traveling all the time, then you pick up applications for him. He can complete them while driving and return them, either via mail or fax. It might mean "giving" up a day off or several days off. But it sounds like it would be better to get out of the present situation as quick as possible. You might have to work with him to come up with some ways to get applications to complete and return. As for your work, again I would expand your net. It sounds like you are a nurse, or have that training. Check into nursing homes (I know with a bad back it would likely be hard, but they should be able to find something), think about things that don't pay "Great" but will have steady hours. Heck try temp agencies, they are always looking for dependable hard working people.
