ORIGINAL: KatMack I heard recently that the backlash has really started now and the new trend is referred to as "Retrosexual." I imagine the Grizzly Adams look will be coming back as a result --Kat Thats good then, that means I now have a fighting chance! quote:
ORIGINAL: Covaan_Meshuga The text of the song was written in 1949 by Jacqueline Steiner and Bess Lomax Hawes. It was one of seven songs written for O'Brien's campaign, each one emphasized a key point of his platform. One recording was made of each song, and they were broadcast from a sound truck that drove around the streets of Boston. This earned O'Brien a $10 fine for disturbing the peace. Now, I always wondered who George O'Brien was, but I now finally know! You learn something new in forums everyday! quote:

I don't mind metro men. Some are quite good looking. I am not into the idea of a guy carrying a purse. Not a fan of fanny packs either but they look better on a dude than actually carrying a purse. Briefcase sure but purse? And I will never understand why anyone male or female wants to be bald in certain areas of their bodies. And please if you are a man getting a mani/pedi...just get polish esp. color. That's just...odd.

Granted, I am from the South, but here Metro means a man that acts gay and accepts the gay agenda but is not gay. This particular person wears girls shirts, foundation, eye shadow and blush. This whole thing is just weird to me. I guess I miss the manly, man type. I don't really have room to talk though; as my son got excited this weekend because he found a "man" lufa (sp).
