Hello fellow writers...

I am working on some pieces on the subject of bullying and would like to talk to some people who have experienced this first-hand at a variety of levels. Through case studies, I am exploring this subject in depth. I would love to talk with anyone that would be willing to be interviewed. I promise to protect confidentiality, but I am hoping to find individuals that might be willing to share an open, honest dialogue. I would appreciate any contacts you might have. Daniel

hey - with some details on your thesis, purpose, and uses I would be happy to participate. The world needs to know how bad a problem bullying is in modern schools - It's a war zone with children as casualties. I'll be the first to admit that much of my childhood was ended earlier by bullying. It's taken me half my life to get over the traumas of the first half of my life.

I am currently watching the episodes of Freaks & Geeks on DVD. That tv series ended before it's time because it was percieved as too realistic. Viewers didn't want to go back and relive the cruelty of their high school days. If you are writing on bullying, and you haven't seen those shows, you might want to consider watching them.

I saw (first and second-hand) a lot of bullying, and an even more sad truth than the fact that it's ongoing in modern schools is that it doesn't stop there. Any time there is a heiarchy, there will be those who will attempt to use it to further themselves at the expense of other people by whatever means necessary. It's not always a quest for specific power: some just take pleasure in causing other people pain.
