Ellie, I started to do this ---> , but KuKu's right, not all of them got i.d.

I'll probably ask for help with those again, if I can't figure them out.

OK, my first auction has ended; and now my next one will end in about 48 minutes.

Between now and 2am, I've got 11 more auctions ending; and of those, 7 have bids on them (by 12 different bidders).

One of the neat things . . . I've received a few inquiries this week; 1 from Canada, 2 from Germany, 1 from Peru and 1 from Sweden. I found that to be fun and interesting.

Oh sure, it's easy for you to joke!
You're not the one living in an exploded toy factory.

LOL!

It is fun to see how much the different ones go for. I like the historical ones.

It is too bad that you couldn't bring them here. We have antique days here where people come from all over the country. It is really rediculous. It is like the they can't come go until they have spent everything. One guy paid my brother $30 for a broken Atary system! AS is getting all kinds of money for old photos, magazines and even her scrap books. Everything goes so fast too.

Maybe you could come visit us if you have any left that need homes? We love it when people visit and it antique days come right near FOT.

That Christopher Columbus Smurf seems popular. Is that the highest bid on any of the toys so far, SharMar?

Wow, Ellie, that's pretty cool!

My goal is to actually not have to box these toys up and ship or transport them ever again. LOL

I would sure enjoy coming up to see you, though.

Steve, yep, so far Christopher Columbus is the most popular (and most of the inquiries I've received have been on him). Kayak is next with a current bid of $15.70 and Abraham Lincoln is next after that with a current bid of $9.00.

All 3 of those auctions will end tomorrow night.

Interestingly enough, the "market value" is the highest on the kayak, at $28.00!

Most serious bidders and collectors won't bid on an item until near the end of an auction, to avoid bidding wars and higher prices.

Shar-Mar, you could come and visit me anyways. You don't need an excuse.

I love the way you wrote them up in memory of CS and are donating part of the proceeds.

I'm finding that out! LOL

It's been interesting trying to keep up with everything during the past hour or so.

Oh thank you, Ellie . . . x2!
Oh, I also need to tell y'all that the Smurfs that will end their auction today (or in the next few hours) will have proceeds going to Yellow Ribbon, but the rest of my auctions will have the proceeds going to the American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide (AFPS). They just seemed to be more active and current with things.

And maybe I will have the pleasure of visiting you one day; that would definitely be very awesome for me!

Really? How long have you been a member?

I joined back in December, but didn't even buy anything until a couple months ago (I think).

Steve . . . it's amazing. It actually took me 1 week to research all of the Smurfs . . . because of all the information I was finding.

I've been watching the action, too. It's very interesting! I'll also continue watching as you continue listing, it's nice to see most everything is selling right now. It looks like you have one serious Smurf bidder out there at the moment!

I couldn't resist bidding myself

Great philosophy, James!

Yeah, Kimberly, one of those buyers is really going to town over there!

This is actually kind of fun, watching it.

I've already got one auction all packaged and ready to ship tomorrow. I got the PayPal notification almost immediately after the auction closed!

I think I mentioned this before . . . I have prayed over this project and my major goal with this is that it bring Honor and Glory to Our Lord.

And admittedly, getting back to a more minimalist lifestyle is also a big goal; but then, I don't think I've ever kept that a secret. CS and I were definitely polar opposites in that regard. LOL

But my very main goal is to get out of the way and let Our Lord do with this what He Will.

More fun that watching paint dry, isn't it?!

Speaking of which, I need to go check the action . . . .
