Hi Michelle, just to clarify a bit, men while visually stimulated do not actually analytically remember what they have seen in general in relation to how a woman remembers.
I have seen tests where put in the same room for 3 minutes both men and women, then later asked what was in that room, women would remember far more than men as a general rule. Then again this could just simply mean that women are more observant instead.

OTOH, ask men and women to draw a bicycle from memory and the men do much better.

I can see something and visualise/extrapolate from what I have seen. It's like extra-sensory perception.
For example: I know the mother-in-law is visiting when I see her broom by the front door.

your purple example is not what i think of when you mention guys are visual. to me that is the stereotype of gay men (or dare i say metro) being superior in matters of fashion, style, etc (ie, queer eye tv show). generally i think it refers to physical attractiveness (pa) of one person as a factor of capturing another's attention. although i think weight gets the most attention, there are other factors such as hair style, clothing style, hygiene, and makeup that make up pa. i realize the 'men are visual' statement means different things to different people such as oogling, etc but what comes to mind to me is me thinking about the the spouse/potential spouse angle. although pa clearly isn't just a male emotional need, it's more important to a significiantly larger percentage of males than females so hence the term 'men' in men are visual.

Visual, hmmm
Visual in a good way: It's good to know when a friend says the truth visually when a dress color is a good
fit or when the cup is nice.
Visual in a bad way: If a lady friend doesn't look well in that color it's best to be brutally honest and tell
her the truth that way she won't be embarrassed in the long term outside the house.
Visual for this guy: Is to find something good in who she is, no matter what (Christ Likeness you know!)
Visual is not always just seeing it from the outside (only) When seeing beauty this
covers all the emotions involved about who she is or what she's like or likes.
(Hopefully that makes sense).
I'm known for being transparent and for being brutally honest. If you love your
friend, honesty is always the best solution as long as you mean it from the Heart.
