Actually, you're on the west side of Christobal - so, you'll not really get much, unless it really intensifies.
You all should KNOW better than to start talking hurricanes with me around!

sorry - sunlovin....you've got Dolly in your area - and you "should" get some rain from it - depending on its path and any blocking systems that are to your north. I've not looked at the map yet today.

Wait, so the west sides of hurricanes don't get rain? Sorry, I don't know that much about them. They're kind of a rarity around these parts.

Well, actually, it's the "left side" of the storms don't get nearly as much rain on them as the "right side". When you're dealing with tropical storms that aren't formed very nicely, then it's very obvious when you look at the storm. However, when you look at hurricanes, especially strong ones, it's not that much different. Just remember - the "right front quandrant" is the worst part of the storm.

Yep, in your location, you're pretty safe from them - you may get outskirts of storms, but I highly doubt you'd ever be in the front right quadrant of one.

Brief explanation - you don't have the combination of fighting air masses in your area that create the right conditions to form them. You rarely have severe thunderstorms, right? Well, without severe thunderstorms, you're not going to have tornadoes.
I'll do more from home - I've got eyes everywhere around me right now.
