Yes. The gift however is available to those who accept Jesus is the Christ.

Dear Modu,

This has been discussed IN DEPTH, on other threads. [;)] Seems to me you must be thinking of a most popular verse in Holy Scripture.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosover believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
St. John 3:16

Even a young child can understand this verse! I have shown it to many unconverted people, and even they can appreciate its meaning. I would say it is one of the top ten verses to show people when evangelizing. It was one of the first verses I memorized from the Word of God. And it is indeed a very great and precious promise.

Well, Calvinists would like to tell you no, but yes, God sent His Son to give everyone the opportunity to be saved PERIOD. No getting around the most simplistic verse in all of Scriptures.

Believe whatever makes you happy evry1needsgod. The important thing is you are saved and you share the gospel that saved you.

I don't choose to believe what makes me happy, I choose to believe God's Word, and sometimes conviction makes me not so happy, especially when it proves me wrong! [:D]

Yes, and I think the key word you used is share, not force
