I_Walk_Alone, Thanks, you made me see I had the song title wrong for Enjoy the Silence. Anberlin also did a remake of The Cure's Love Song, which I thought was pretty good. 311 did it just as well. How about Stevie Ray Vaughn's version of Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix?

Oh, I didn't see your post about Enjoy The Silence. I personally love Lacuna Coil's version because you have both male and female vocals on that song. Cristina Scabbia is an awesome singer. I am not familiar with Anberlin and 311. Stevie Ray Vaughn was an incredible guitar player (RIP). His cover of that Hendrix song was awesome. 2 guitar greats taken away too soon.

Turn the Page - Metallica (Bob Segar) One Way Out - Styx (The Allman Brothers) For What It's Worth - Tommy Shaw/Jack Blades (Buffalo Springfield) That's about all the remakes I can stomach! NDY

I listened to Lacuna Coil's version of Enjoy the Silence and even though I'm not a big fan of goth metal. She does have a very nice singing voice and the they did the song well. She reminds me of Amy Lee from Evanescence.

I_Walk_Alone you will find 311's version of Love Song and Anberlin's as well on http://www.youtube.com Some of the live versions of Anberlins are not the best but there is one that sounds like what they recorded on their lost songs album.

Hey Giggles, I checked out those songs and they are pretty good. Not what I usually listen to, but change is good. Evanescence drew alot of influences from Lacuna Coil. Lacuna Coil started out in 1994 and their sound has evolved over the years. I don't listen to much goth metal really, but there are some exceptions. Like Therion, Lacuna Coil, Type O Negative, and Bronx Casket Co. Speaking of Type O Negative and Bronx Casket Co. I love the cover of Summer Breeze that Type O Negative did. Bronx Casket Co. also has good covers. They did Freebird Goth Metal style, and I like the approach. Made it listenable again because I got so tired of hearing Skynnard.
