You might be a SG music fan if you tell your vacation stories like this: Southern Gospel Music was my First Love ever since I was just a little Hopper. It all started on a trip we took Down East. A friend gave us directions. He said we had to go at Easter time. Directions were to look for the Gold City as you go through the Palmetto State going all the way to Florida. We started planning the journey. The big decision. Do we drive(the Primitive way), or do we fly on an Heirline? We decided to drive. We started out on our journey. We had to pass over Three Bridges through the Blackwoods where we would have Greater Vision to see the Harvesters Comb the fields. Our trip took us through the mountains where we could hear Dixie Echoes from Dixie Melody's as we Crosswayed the New River. We stopped along the way at a restaurant to eat. We sat in a Booth where we ate Greenes, Burgers and Crabbs. What a great meal! We finally reached our destination which was a grand Cathedral where the Bishop led the service. What an Inspiration! This is where we found Assurance to find that our Triumphant way to heaven has been Paid in Full by a wonderful Savior, who out of Compassion left Mercy's Mark on my life. The Savior's sacrifice is a Monument to the fact that if we are saved, we are all Kingdom Heirs and are Heavenbound.

I think it took around an hour. I had actually written if for a radio contest (didn't win), about 2 years ago and never deleted if from my email. I liked it then and I still love it today because of what the last paragraph says. I am ready to get out of this old world and see Jesus!!!

I know I can't top the one but I thought of another one to add. You might be a Southern Gospel fan if you name your triplets Hovie, Mosie, and Vestal!

You might be a southern gospel music fan if you can tell what groups are represented by these intitials.... DMB, GVB, GV, KQ, KH's, TQ, MBQ, BBQ, KPNR, EHSSQ, etc. Some folks might think we are speaking a special code! lol
