NoShow -> RE: Tattoos on Women? (5/30/2008 10:59:11 AM)

My view has changed over time. Originally, I didn't really care for tattoos on women. But my ex-wife got a bunch of them the first couple years after we split up. We had a very amicable divorce and saw each other as friends for years, until we both remarried. So having known her prior to her getting the tattoos, I saw her as someone getting tattoos, rather than someone "with" tattoos. Since that time, I've become good friends with a number of people that have a lot of tattoos (sleeves, complete back coverage...) and have come to see that often tattoos don't really tell you or "say" much about the person, it's just a personal choice. So now, I don't see them as a turnoff, nor do I see them as attractive, per se; but as others have mentioned the nature of a particular tattoo can be a turn off.
