creationtalk -> RE: Do You Work Better Under Pressure? (5/27/2008 8:38:14 AM)

I checked work best under pressure...because if I could not work under pressure, I'm in the wrong job. Everyday is high pressure/stress as in many different things happening and a wide variety of tasks to be finished on short deadlines. On the other hand, if by "pressure" you mean a boss looming over me with a whip to get me to work faster or (as is currently the case) a coworker always hanging around telling me that I'm doing things wrong, undoing things I've done, or starting a discussion over something related to the job but not currently applicable keeping me from being able to work (and won't stop unless I am totally rude), then no, I don't work at all well in those circumstances. Give me a job and a deadline, and I can/will get it done. However, I am a self-starter and can set goals and deadlines for myself and meet them. Deadlines or goals help me to focus.
