Checking individual schedules I see several excellent groups going to be there, Old Paths, Tribute, Driven, Hemphills, Browns Chuch Wagon Gang and Palmetto State.
Maybe they will have some information out soon as to who is going to be there. Sure would help their attendance if they would put the schedule out early. People like to make plans and if they don't know who's going to be there they don't know whether or not they want to attend.

I just found out that I have some more vacation days that I'll have to take or lose by September 30, so has anyone found out the schedule for this year's World Premier??????

I just emailed faith for up to date info. This is the list expected to be there. This list was emailed to me in May. Always subject to change.

Thus far on artist schedules:
August 25, Old Paths, Tribute, Hemphills, Angelina McKeithen, Driven, His Song.
August 26, Browns, Driven, Heirline, Kirk Talley
August 27. Chuck Wagon Gang, Palmetto State Qt, Driven, His Song, Lesters.
Several of these are making videos and will have at least two slots.
Don't forget Triumphant is at First Baptist, Sevierville, August 25.
MAY BE SANTA CAN TALK TO HIS FRIEND AND GET AN UPDATE

From yesterday's newsletter from Kirk Talley:
I have a limited number of tickets to the World Premiere Gospel Concerts 2008 in Pigeon Forge August 25, 26 and 27. You can get a 3-day ticket for $84.95 or 1-day ticket for $29.95. There will be two concerts each day so gospel music lovers will be very happy! I will be singing on Tuesday night the 26th. Call the office if you want a ticket.

Before you say that is a high price for a concert, remember you are getting 8 (eight) hours of SG music each day at its best. Give the regional groups a chance. The big name groups had to start somewhere. And personally I have really enjoyed most of the groups that appear at World Premier and heard for the first time.

I think His Song, Driven, Browns, Chuck Wagon Gang, Palmetto State and Lesters are planning to do a video. Of course $$$$ changes everything.

Several of the artist that are going to be there have tickets for sale, if you plan on seeing any of the artist. (Old Paths Quartet and others.)
