I'm a cowboy that hates country music.

How's that for quirky?

I kid you not..I saw what you wrote but I read "I'm a cowboy... who rides an ostrich!"

Had to read it twice.

Is it quirky to actually LAUGH at John????

I miss this thread.

Quirky?

I know of someone that runs the heater and the air conditioner at the same time.

Cute, but a little quirky.

*runs*

Don't know if this is quirky or not but when I'm in the mountains during wintertime I run the car heater at my feet and drive around with my window rolled down since I love the smell of clean air after a fresh snowfall.

I used to do this when I lived in Tahoe. Tahoe air is elixer for the soul no matter what the season.

I love Lake Tahoe. When my service time here in Arizona is finished in the spring I am relocating back to the mountains. Back to the Reno/Tahoe area is a definite possibilty.

Thought of another one of my quirks, I freeze all the time, so I wear a hoodie at night...IN THE

MIDDLE OF JULY!! (All of the people I was a counselor at youth camp with thought that was so

weird...although, I don't know if it was the hoodie, or the fact that I wore it with basketball shorts

and flip-flops...hmmm...I wonder... Hey, I dressed really nice for the services, this was only what I wore for the after service games!)

I don't sing in the shower, but give me a drink or two, and I can out sing John O in any Kareoke bar. I think I can anyway, lol.

Monday. 9:00PM. Stepping Out in Virginia Beach. Challenge!!

Ok, JohnO, buy me a return plane ticket, a couple of drinks, and a hotel room for the night, and I'm there, baby, I'm there! LOL.

...now, where is that Wham CD?...gotta get an early practice! Wake me up, before you go, go....!

Not at all. It happens all the time. People are always lauging at me. Here, at church, on the street, in shopping malls. I must be a pretty funny guy (but then looks aren't everything)

I can probably come up with the cash for the drinks, but teh flight and the room on short notice? No can do.

I guess we'll have to wait for the next GT.

This morning at the boss's breakfast I again realized that my laughter carries. But at least they knew our table was having a good time!

Hey, having a great laugh isn't quirky! It's a great thing to have...especially when you love to laugh!

(I love to laugh, except for the fact that my friends say I sound like someone stepped on a squeak toy... )

And I'm more of a city-gal who loves country music. Now THAT'S quirky.

Please tell me you don't go to those ersatz honky-tonk clubs they have in cities, where businessmen pretend they ride bulls in their free time.

LOL! Heavens, no! I don't go to any of the clubs. I don't do bars or clubs. If I want to see bull-riding (which isn't often) I'll go to the rodeo.

Thank you SO much!

Okay, so I guess that probably a quirk...I just love to sing anyways! I started singing along with the radio in the store the other day, embarrassed my sister to death, but it was funny! (She said the only thing that made her feel better was that I have a pretty voice, I guess that was half of a complement...)

Oh honey if I could sing like an angel I'd sing everything instead of speaking!

Funny thing is I don't personally think I sing very well, but other people think I do...

My other quirk is that I could watch sappy, romantic movies over and over and over and over...
Like "A Walk To Remember" and "Pride and Prejudice", I've watched them too many times to count! And I watched "A Cinderella Story" so many times that I broke it and had to get a new one...

I do this too. It started when my kids were little, so it is mostly kids tunes I make up words too. Other than the birthday song tune that is my personal favorite. Yep....I know that is weird. Amazing what you will do for your kids.

I do this all the time. Sing lots of silly songs about the Girl. I sang lots of songs about M too.

This morning I was doing something else. singing "Amazing Grace" To the tune of the Gilligan's Island theme. (try it, it works well)

It's a reference to the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Christmas special. That was one of the toys on the Island of Misfit Toys.

That's no big deal. Just so long as you don't argue with yourself. That's a problem. No it's not. Yes it is, who asked you? You're spreading misinformation. Am not! Don't mind him folks, he's off his meds again. Quiet you!

Robb/Labguy.... are we Borg tonight?

I'm off to get groceries at WalMart and head back to headbang to the Carpenters (I think that would qualify as quirky!)
