We all have little things about us that we know would drive our future spouses nuts. I know I do. I thought it would be fun to share our quirks. It may help us get to know each other a little better as well.

i've been called the captain ahab of bugs ... if a moth enters the house i might be distracted for the next 10 minutes hunting it down ... quite a distraction ...

The crocodile bug hunter.
Well, at least it is a very useful quirk.

I am always afraid to post my quirks because they are especially quirky ... though it hasn't exactly stopped me from posting one now and again ... as I am about to do so now.

Ok ... Admittedly, I do talk to myself from time to time. I have never answered myself, which is a good thing, but I have caught myself turning the car radio down so I can hear me better.

I don't think that's quirky at all. I do this too. And I'm pretty sure the people responsible for eavesdropping on me would confirm it.

I don't know if this is really a quirk or not, (my friends think it is!) but, when someone is talking

to me and says certain words, it reminds me of songs. That's not the quirky thing though, that

would be because I start SINGING whatever the song is...for instance, the other night one of my

friends was whining that I hate him and one of my other friends told him, "Oh, no! She doesn't

hate you, she just doesn't like you!" You guessed it, I started singing Relient K's "Which to bury,

us or the hatchet?" LOL! Okay, I guess this is a MAJOR quirk considering I do it ALL the time...

I just remembered one quirky thing I do... I pick things off the floor with my feet. This morning, a drier sheet fell to the floor, I picked it up with my toes, put it in my hand and threw it away. Simple!

As you can see from my last post, I have a wierd sense of humor.

I also do not like gum. Or mint. Or shrimp. Or bananas. Or strawberries. I guess that is a bit quirky.

That's not really quirky, unless I'm just saying that because I have a long list of foods I don't

like either! (Shrimp and bananas would be a couple of them! YUCK!!)

I have this obsession with ring pops, I love them! I guess that is a little quirky, the guys at

church said we were supposed to outgrow those once we hit high school, I told them I never go

the memo on that one! LOL!

The only quirkiness about me is my thought process. I tend to see eevrything in two or three ways and see connections where none really exist.

For example, in JC247s post 385 I was left wondering where she had shrimp flavored banana's before.

Ha,ha! I've never had shrimp-flavored bananas before, I just don't like shrimp or bananas!

I'm a cowboy that hates country music.

How's that for quirky?

I miss this thread.

Quirky?

I know of someone that runs the heater and the air conditioner at the same time.

Cute, but a little quirky.

*runs*

Don't know if this is quirky or not but when I'm in the mountains during wintertime I run the car heater at my feet and drive around with my window rolled down since I love the smell of clean air after a fresh snowfall.

Let's see...I've been told I'm really quirky...in a cute way, lol.

Well, I watch the country music channel with the sound off, esp when Keith Urban is on. He rocks, lol

I can run for hours in the dead of winter, but will complain about driving to the store because it's too cold. Also, I spend my lunch hours at the gym running, but I won't attend a meeting if I have to walk to the next building.

I don't sing in the shower, but give me a drink or two, and I can out sing John O in any Kareoke bar. I think I can anyway, lol.

Oh..I"m the only one I know who brings a bottle of wine every time I go hiking, lol. Yeah, you heard it before. I'll probably be found dead, with an extremely high content of alcohol in my blood (I'm small, it doesn't take much) , half eaten by a bear someday.

...will think of my other quirks....I have tonnes of them.

And I'm more of a city-gal who loves country music. Now THAT'S quirky.

I was going to respond to that the same way... while we don't have snow down here, I have the heater going on my feet with the window half way down. Mmmm, cool, dry air.

Please tell me you don't go to those ersatz honky-tonk clubs they have in cities, where businessmen pretend they ride bulls in their free time.

I drive all winter long with my windows down, but that's cause the heater in my truck doesn't work and if I leave the windows up, everything fogs over from my breath.

LOL! Heavens, no! I don't go to any of the clubs. I don't do bars or clubs. If I want to see bull-riding (which isn't often) I'll go to the rodeo.

I kid you not..I saw what you wrote but I read "I'm a cowboy... who rides an ostrich!"

Had to read it twice.

I used to do this when I lived in Tahoe. Tahoe air is elixer for the soul no matter what the season.
