Oh come on Tink, you're a young sapling. A spicy sapling, but a young one.

Ok...that's just weird. That's the SECOND time today I've heard some "accidental" Christmas music...in August.

Now, Christmas music in August isn't so strange to me, because I am a musician, and we often start rehearsing seasonal music this early. But it's pretty weird to hear it in public at this time of year!

For some reason my mind connected that with "Hot Time in the City" (I think that's the name of the song.)

Billy Idol, Hot in the City. Because it's Billy Idol, I will refrain from posting a link.

Believe me that wasn't accidental. I'm such a huge Christmas freak, I have my own Christmas MySpace page (which I sadly don't update much anymore as MySpace slowly fades from relevance).

Well, "accidental" wasn't really the word I wanted anyway...I realized your play off of "Silver Bells" was deliberate, and the other incident earlier in the day was similar. I just couldn't think of a good word in place of it...incidental? coincidental (but I don't believe in coincidence...) providential? (but then I'd have to wonder what He was trying to say, if anything)...

Anyway, I did realize your use of it was intentional...

Now posting Billy Idol would be a bad thing? (well it could be, but just saying.)

Oh thank you all so much!!! My birthday was wonderful!!!

My parents took the boys and I to an Irish pub in Destin and the food is delicious and HUGE!!!!

I had my birthday hamburger and raspberry wheat brew. It was GREAT!!! They brew their own beer and rootbeer right there at the pub and it's great.

Thing 2 made me an adorable cookie cake, and my parents gave me a beautiful star of David necklace. I love it!

Saturday a friend took me to see Inglourious Basterds and then to the Irish pub...again...for lunch!! LOL!!!!

Oh!!! And he bought me my first knife!!! It's adorable!!! It's a little pink one! I love it!!!

My parents took the boys and I to see GI Joe and while it was good, I'm actually glad that I didn't pay to see it at the big theatre. It wasn't worth that price.

Then tonight we had a get together with our life group and the leaders gave me a Starbucks gift card (OOOHHH YEAH!!!!!!) and a Dove's candy bar (swoon!) and a pretty balloon. We had cupcakes too.

So all in all this has been a great weekend and I'm so glad I was able to enjoy it with family and friends.

And I'm so glad so many of you sent well wishes! You guys are AMAZING people and may G-d continue to bless you each and every day.

I may not say it, but I do care about you guys, and I do keep you in my prayers.

*HUGGLES*
