Karlie, I voted you as one of the people I would miss most if they left CW

awwww, you're very sweet, Trish :)

Things are good, just busy. Kristen moves back home on Friday for about 3 weeks, until the dorms open again, then we move her back in. I can't believe she graduates from college next spring! She will enter a credential program for teaching English, but not sure where yet. Britt and Hubby are happily settled in their apartment. She had us over for dinner the other night and the apartment is looking so cute. She has a gift for decorating and interior design.

Kristen has game night at our house this weekend. Several of the college age group wanted to keep contact after camp, so they started having weekly game nights. I'm going to make it a party for Kristen...she tuned 21 this last Sunday, so I thought it would be fun to have her friends all celebrate with her. Britt's birthday is Friday, so mom and dad and everyone will come over Sunday to celebrate both girls' together. I am so thankful for my wonderful family [:)]

Schools break is starting to get to me...lol. I love the time off, but I am antsy to get this last stretch of school over and done with! I'm trying to enjoy summer though, as it's my last long break off. My program doesn't have a summer break, so it's straight on until graduation, then hopefully a full time intern position.

I hope everyone is having a blessed summer! Love you guys [:)]

21???!

Man, these kids are growing up fast!

And how many years has she been in college; certainly doesn't seem like it's hardly been any time at all.

Shar Mar, I almost called you the other day, but wasn't sure if the number I have for you is current. Plus, I had to be someplace in a mere three and a half hours, so didn't want to push it [8D]
LOL!

I don't think neither one of us has that kind of time lately. [:D]

I do think about you a lot.

So when do you start your graduate program?

Awwww, thanks for the hugs! [:)]

So when do you start your graduate program?

It's looking like the first week in October. The application process has taken a lot longer than planned because professors are apparently all out of contact over summer. Admin is trying to see if we can work around the mandatory professor letter for the time being and complete process of my application without it. Once they do that, I'll get a firm start date. It's a little frustrating to wait, but if this is God's timing, then I'll chill and let him do His thing!

cherish405 -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/4/2009 3:14:54 AM)

I hope everything can get ironed out quickly.

Perhaps she should stick with potatoes instead. [sm=aside.gif]

cherish405 -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/5/2009 12:44:25 PM)

Well that might do it too. [;)][8D]

Hee hee. I'm sure He was just so worried that I may get ahead of him [8D]

mmmm, potatoes! A huge backed one with loads or real butter and sour cream. Oh baby!

What about the front? [8D]

karlie -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/12/2009 2:04:12 PM)

Oh, you are just too funny, Ray! I had to do a double take and see if that was you or Ben!

rayofson -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/12/2009 2:12:48 PM)

[sm=icon_smile_approve.gif]

Then I'm in good company.

stamper_ben -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/12/2009 2:42:58 PM)

I must be losing it. I didn't catch it in the original post. But which end is the front or back? In fact, which side is the top or bottom?

awed -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/12/2009 2:47:06 PM)

I'm hoping to have a backed potato with butter and sour cream when my sister and I take my mom out to eat later this afternoon for her birthday. I have pretty much eliminated potatoes from my diet. Not even on purpose. It has just evolved that way. I hardly ear red meat anymore either... again not on purpose, so I will be having a steak with that potato tonight. I hope the gut can take it without much distress.

I said "backed" potato instead of "baked". The typo police(usually headed by you) were all over it!

Hi Sharon!

stamper_ben -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/12/2009 2:56:56 PM)

If you ear both the potato and the steak your stomach should be fine... Especially if you use the back of the ear.[;)]

Hi Sharon!

I saw that when Ray pointed it out.

I just made mention of it to Sharon too.

karlie -> RE: Karlie's Kompound for Komrades (8/12/2009 2:58:55 PM)

And he's back!

LOL Ben!

Yup, I noticed Ray noticed Karlie's typo and now I notice that you noticed that Ray noticed that Karlie made a typo and I bet that Ray is noticing that you noticed his notice of Karlies's typo and now notices that Ben noticed one of mine now too.

Heres the card I made my mom. It's the public link to a photo on FB.

Well, just so all you typo people know, I've been catching them all . . . "backed potato", "ear red meat" . . . I've just been too nice to point them out to y'all.
