So of all crazy things! Two days ago after breakfast my stomach started hurting incredibly...it actually felt like my stomach muscle was in one big crampy knot. It was horrible...I started sweating and it was hard to breathe. I just felt like something wasn't right. Since my sister had her gall bladder out last spring, I was thinking I was having a gall bladder attack (though I've never had one before and never had any symptoms like she had). Then I had the brilliant idea that if I threw up I would feel better...it worked and my stomach stopped cramping. I was able to get into the shower and told Joel (he had suggested the ER) that if it came back we would go to the doctor. The pain didn't come back, thankfully...but guess what did? Aunt Flo! LOL! Ick! I've never gotten my cycle while nursing (even infrequently like I am now). I guess it's a good thing that I'm starting the weaning proccess, eh?

LOL...well it's most likely annovulatory bleeding. I've not ovulated on my own without my Metformin since I was a teenager, that I'm aware of. [;)][:)] But I am going to go back on my Met....that is if Walmart can figure out how to properly fill out my prescrip. from my doctor (it was called in yesterday afternoon...and they've no record of it [8|]).

When I got my cycle back after I weaned Hannah girl I got sick too. Hormones do wacky wacky things to me. I was puking then too...but it lasted a whole day, instead of just the once, like this time.

I see....well then in a roundabout sorta kinda way it's exciting...who knows, God might open up your womb soon, since you're starting back on Met.
Or I could just not have a clue what I'm talking about....[8|] I know..shocker right? [8D]

He could! It's not unheard of for a woman with PCOS to ovulate on her own...but even if I did we missed the window, so to speak anyway. [;)]

But it is exciting to know that it's going to be a possibility to get pg again, Lord willing! [:D]

I finally found this thread. The baby blues have not been to bad, but when I does hit, it is such an awful feeling. Ryan was so good to me last night. I had a moment. He was listening to some praise and worship music and I was flooded with saddness. By the time I started crying he was so good to me. He simply held me and let me cry on him. The day Mary was born, he made sure to encourage me that any time I needed to cry, that I don't hold it in. And that if I get any strong urges to hurt myself or anyone else, that I tell him right away. I was so greatful for those words. (sounds wierd huh?) But so far I'be been able to maintain my sanity for now. [:D]

He sounds so great!! He's right, don't hold anything in, make sure you let it out, especially since you have somebody so great to encourage you through it. You're doing great!

Nothing major Donna. Just for the first couple of weeks. If it wouldn't have been for Ryan voicing his concerns for me, I probably would be a wreck. I'm very comforted to know he is here for me. And I know he also prays for me daily and I can tell.

About the BC...you and Jason need to pray and decide together. But know that if you had problems on the pill (can't remember...), you're likely to have problems with the depo also and you'll just have to deal with them until it's out of your system. Also, the depo can dry up your milk. And IUDs are definitely abortificant...part of their purpose is to irritate the uterine lining so that if an egg does get fertilized, it has nowhere to stick.[:(]

Have you thought of some combination of condoms, spermicide, and FAM (fertility awareness method...being aware of your fertility signs and using something when appropriate...won't work well until your period is back though)?

Overall...pray and do your research.

We are surviving here. Mary gets chocked easily wether nursing or when she gets excited. She always get the hiccups (which she would get in utero as well), acts constipated though she will have bowel movements (some will be very small), and when she is straining and pulling her legs up she strains her little umblical cord and it has been bleeding. Most of the day she just wants to be held.

Me personally I'm hanging in there. Today was a little stressful becuase of other issues unrelated to baby. I'm still very happy to have Ryan here because he is usally able to help redirect me.

Donna - I'm allergic to spermicides and latex irritates me. And, I refuse to take anything abortificant! good grief!

I guess that means no BC.

And, no she didn't stitch it up. She said it was very tiny and should heal on it's own.

Janine, yeah depo is pretty much the only one out there that is non-abortificant. Implanon too, but you have that thing in your arm for three years, and I'm thinking ya'll will want another baby sooner than that. But, with the pill or any other BC, it is easy to keep track of your fertile periods and abstain during those time or use some non-latex condoms. Like I think Ryanne uses NuvaRing, but she does something else when she's fertile. If you wanted to go on a pill, all you have to do is open your pack and see what day you're on, and then abstain from x day until y day....I don't know how many days, but I don't think it's for very long. The NFP and FAM ladies will know that.

With Depo, it seems like it's hit or miss. My best friend bled for 3 months straight. I didn't even spot. Depo is bad for your body in he long run though.

Yeah, I use the Nuva Ring but I do the billings method along with it and we use condoms when I could possibly be fertile. So far I haven't ovulated...

I'm not sure what we are going to do. All I know is that I can't wait for the spotting to end (I guess I'm still spotting because I'm breastfeeding) and for the healing to be DONE.

Anyone else SHOCKED at the way your body changed? Technically I don't have much to lose before I'm at my pre-preg weight, but yet it feels/looks like much more. Everything is just more round and flabby now. (I'm not complaining, just commenting)

Yes I know what you mean. However I am much lighter than my pre-preg weight. So far I've maintained it and am very pleased.

Oh and for the bleeding. Yes I can't wait for it to stop.

Yes. My rear-end is flat, my tummy is stretch-marked and has some extra saggy skin, and my breasts suffered a lot of tissue breakdown.

But yet it doesn't bother me too bad! It's worth it!

When a woman is first pg in the first trimester her breasts prepare for nursing and the mamary glands can cause the breast to stretch and the muscle fibers that once kept them perky to stretch and break down...thus flabby boobies after the baby comes or nursing stops...for me anyway.

spotting has nothing to do with your nursing....it has to do mostly with your body's healing this time and how much you are doing. If you do too much then it extends that time longer.

I am actually getting to a place where even though I do have stretch marks (they have faded a great deal though), some saggy skin on my belly, and my boobs are not as perky I am overall happy with my body. I actually still really like the way my boobs look and they are nothing like what I thought they would be especially after nursing for a year. Don't get me wrong I would much happier if I were 15 lbs. lighter and my thighs were thinner, but you can't have it all now can ya?

I am too. I am a couple sizes bigger then I was but I will not die if I never wear a size 6 again... My body has grown life and it still turns my husband on so I am pretty content.
