Kim that is so odd! Glad it came out okay ...and I found my first son gained weight so much faster than his sisters did. Holy heck. That boy was a growing machine!!

Yolanda...one week PP is a time frame when your hormones are wacko anyway, they really fluctuate those first few weeks and for me seem to hit peaks at the week marks. So just get a heads up about that, mark your calendar, so you don't think you are going insane.

Thanks, I seem to be much better now. I just hate that hopeless feeling, even though you know everything is ok... but I'm doing so much better this week than last.

My stitches/tear seems to be healing up well, I still can't sit for long periods, but no danger of that with these kids around I did walk around the grocery store on the weekend, and I was a little sore after that, but it's so much better than it was before.

I had a few questions to ask in here, but I can't remember them at the moment... may be back later

Wow I think its odd that people don't rest after a c-section. I know all my friends who have had c-sections are given a list (a print out, I've seen it on their fridges ) of things they have to avoid and the time limit. It just makes sense, you have a major op, you rest.
Glad that you are doing better Christine.

I rested as long as I needed. I recovered fairly quickly I think.

Anyway .....

had my 6-week check up last week. Doc says everything looks good. YAY!!!
And I FINALLY stopped bleeding at 4 1/2 weeks.

Sorry for being MIA. just trying to get into a routine with a little one and the forums are just too time consuming.

Ug, I hate the post pardum bleeding. Last night I had none and this morning I had none, but by mid day it started back up again.

Has anyone ever experienced gas pain about a week after delivery? I had this after Mary and I am having severe gas pain again. It is right under my ribs and sternum. If I burp it seems to relieve it temporarily. Not sure what all I can do to get rid of it.

So a half a day after my post-partem check up I started spotting. It's not much, maybe a liner gets full a day, and it's combined with cervical mucus. It's been a week now. So it seems like, while at first I thought it was related to the internal exam, now I'm thinking it's not. Any thoughts??????

sounds like normal PP.

with mucus it very well could be your hormones from BF causing some spotting. I knew someone who swore her uterus was still shrinking at 8 wks PP and she had cramping 50% of the time she was nursing.

yeah, I'm still cramping on her longer feedings.

The spotting seems to have stopped ... for now.
