The first time I saw Titanic I cried so much it was embarrassing (and in the theater at that) but later viewings didn't affect me at all. Steel Magnolias - can't make it past the funeral scene without sobbing. Every.Single.Time. Dead Man Walking - I cried until I threw up, literally. Dawn Anna - I knew what was ultimately going to happen because I had read the description, but GAH. It was so well done. I have to say though, I cannot believe the way they found out Lulu was dead. On the NEWS?!? That is just so, so wrong. Forrest Gump Bruce Almighty - when Bruce is praying that Grace will find someone to love her the way she deserves to be loved, and then God sends him back to life so it can be him. *sniff* There's scores of others. I'm a big sap.

My wife makes fun of me all the time because I am such a sap, but the absolute worst movie that had me sobbing in the theater and still crying when we got out to the car was When a Man Loves a Woman with Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia. I also cried at Titanic and at the end of the Champ. Norman

You women, and your movie crying! ;-) (Said w/scarcasim, wit, and humor. Please don't take offense.) I will say though, there are 3 movies that choke me up (and I could see myself crying if I were the "cry at a movie" type): "The Passion Of The Christ", "United 93", and "World Trade Center". OK ladies, back to your girlie, crying movies.... ;-) (Again, just joking everyone. Please don't take offense.)

Grease : because it's so terrible Dirty Dancing: If I ever have to watch it all the way through, I might have to kill myself. Are we talking about emotional tears or tears of unbearable agony? The above cracked me up. By the way, I hate those two movies also. But for the crying ones: Penny Serenade (when Cary Grant is pleading before the judge to let him keep his adopted daughter). Also when I saw Dead Poets' Society, I was so upset over it, but I have not seen that for a long time so maybe it would not affect me the same way now - I think it was that there is something in there that was not only sad but shocked me when it happened. (Don't necessarily want to ruin it for anyone who may watch it.) As someone else mentioned, My Girl is a pretty good tearjerker too, especially Vada's reaction at the funeral.

I watched Flight 93 last night and I wouldn't call it a tear jerker in the traditional sense because it's just not. It was a movie that definitely brought the tears and anger over the senselessness of 9/11.

We may be talking about 2 diff. movies. There have been a few movies made about that flight. Most of them are really lame. The one I'm talking about it called "United 93", not "Flight 93".

That's it. That is the one that was on Cinemax last night. Although, any of the 9/11 films do make me cry simply because of the subject. I'm not a crier when watching movies. I laughed at the comedic relief in Steel Magnolia's when everyone else was blubbering. Olympia Dukkakis and Shirley McClain were brilliant in that scene.

Steel Magnolias. The funeral scene - I'm totally bawling, and then when the comic relief thing happens I started laughing so hard while I was still crying that I snorted! Very feminine I know. Return to Me What's 2 weeks? I don't think I've heard of it.

It has Sally Field as a Mom of 4 adult children and she's dying from cancer. The process of someone dying is pretty much very well depicted in the movie plus the family dynamics.

I have to add one of my favorite old classics, Wuthering Heights with Merle Oberon & Laurence Olivier. Absolutely beautiful and sad movie.
