What exactly is 'Cracked Corn' and why is Jimmy cracking the corn??? Why not Tommy, or Bobby???

I wanted to go to Seattle because I hear that it is very nice and a much slower pace than Boston, plus there are many things that interest me there as well. Not to mention possibly meeting friends online also. As of today, I still haven’t visited there though.
And no, I have never ridden a motorcycle either.
