Starting a new weight loss plan today please pray to give me strength to resist temptation.Please pray for my friend at work who is caught in sinful life to see the light.Also pray for my family members who are not saved.God bless us all this day.

I talked to Memaw on the phone this morning and she is still in the hospital with many health issues, and the dr's don't seem to know what is going on with some of it. She did give me permission to pass on her phone number to anyone who PMs me with the request.
She would really appreciate prayers! Thank you.

Update on our job situations.
DH did not get the job that he was promised. We can't tell if we were lied to or if this organization is incompetent.
We thought it was a done deal when they offered us relocation assistance and offered to put me on the payroll so that I could have insurance too.
We waited and then were told they will not be hiring anyone. DH contacted 2 of his colleagues/mentors and they are equally puzzled at to what happened.
I lost my job and am having a hard time over what happened and how it was handled.
DH has applied to 2 more places and we are hoping that one of them works out.
Continued prayers appreciated.

My grandson has been diagnosed with asthma, but he's getting worse, not better. Please pray for him. He's 17 months old. Pray for his mother my dd1.

I am trying to figure out and decide if it would be possible for me to swing a double major in college. I am pretty sure I can do it. I'm a senior, and I'm almost done with both my major and my minor. I am trying to see if I can add enough classes to make my minor into another major. I would have to take 18/19 credits next semester, walk at my graduation in May, and take 2 online classes over the summer. I know it would be crazy, but I am pretty sure I can do it.
I am usually very confident, but I am so easily discouraged right now.
Please pray that everything will come together smoothly if this is God's will, and that if it isn't going to work out that the doors will close for sure on these details.

My husband and I are both unbelievably stressed right now. He is dealing with a very controlling, mean-spirited family member and needs to make a decision on whether or not to walk away from his parternship with this person, and start over in a new job. A very difficult decision, as this current job is what he has devoted his whole life to (the family farm) but it has become a very stressful unhappy situation.
Due to this family member's temper and mental state, we also fear somewhat for our safety. Probably unreasonably, but "crazy people do crazy things" so you never know.

My oldest granddaughter Krystine's step dad passed away this morning from a massive heart attack (He was only 35). Please pray for the family, he had 2 little girls ages 4 and 2 as well.

Wow that's shocking
I was to get a raise and it wasn't put through. I am now owed 5 weeks of the retro pay, I could use the money.. am frustrated. Unless its on my next check but that's two weeks from now
I got the regular pay though.

Today I will be getting some legal adivice that will effect my whole family and could determine whether or not I stay married.
I don't want to loose my marriage, but I don't want to lose my dd either.

My mom called this morning.
My grandfather (98) was in a nursing home. He was taken to the hospital last night because he went into a coma. They didn't think he'd come out of it. He did this morning. They sent him home- to die. I don't know if he's saved or not.
My uncle was diagnosed with his second bout of cancer. He's in his late 60s. He is saved. He's got a positive disposition, but still needs prayers.

Please pray for my husband's court date next week. His ex girlfriend filed a complaint, she has gotten money previously this year (large lump sum). He has struggled with a job, and we just had a baby.
We are struggling financially and had to move in with his grandpa (she is aware we moved in with him).
The court date is on our first wedding anniversary, and I think she purposely requested that day. The things she did before this seem vindictive.
Please pray the judge shows mercy on my husband, and that his ex stop with the things she's doing. If she doesn't stop, please pray that God put a protective shield around us and that others see what she is doing.
And , please pray for my anger toward her.

I have a back injury from my last job that is really bothering my back and hip today. It really hurts to move. I have to go to work and will be on my feet and moving around all day. Then I have to take my dd shopping for an outfit for her school concert tonight. I can't take pain killers because they counteract my other meds. Please pray for my back and my hip.

If you all could pray for all of us who are temporarily separated from our spouses, especially at night, it would be wonderful. It seems that there are a number of the ladies here who are without their hubbies.
