My dad goes in for prostate surgery Monday (3/17/08).
My brother and his family are moving in a few months and my mother is not dealing with this well at all.

I woke up today with a sore throat. Now I am feeling really sick. I have not been sick in forever. It is because I am temping and can't take time off. :( I don't feel well and the medicine is not working. Why did they change the medicine? Now it does not work. :(
I am a big baby Please pray that this passes quickly. I have a fever. I am scared how I am going to feel tomorrow. And I am supposed to cook for 19 people on Easter. :(

I dont usually post things like this because I don't believe in "airing dirty laundry"..but.. I am so desperate... without getting into too much details as I do not want to disrespect my husband.. but... ladies I need majour prayer please...he took out a HELOC on our house and put it towards currency trading.... $100K worth..... he has tried currency trading before and failed miserably... so I am not feeling very hopeful about this... he says in two weeks it will be ok... and he will get it back... but there is no hard word on that.. its all luck and how the currency goes. Please pray for us... and for me in particular.... I am so angry and resentful towards him . Please please pray for us.. I am desperate.

My cousin, her husband and their two children are traveling back from Germany. They will be arriving in SFO tomorrow. Please pray for safe travels for them.
My boss's brother had a heart attack on Saturday. He is in a coma. Please pray for my boss and her family during this time.

My grandmother has a turn for the worse. My mother is flying out today to be with her while she is still lucid, but things may not go well this time.
It started out with pneumonia, and now her blood has a massive infection.

He didn't pass away yet. I have to do a retraction.
He hasn't passed on, but the drs. say that he will die any minute now. The lady who told me, got the facts confused. The brother's name is Mark and he's not saved. He's in his late 40s and had a massive heart attack last Saturday while playing golf. He has shown no imrovement while in the hospital and has been pretty much in a coma. Yesterday he took a turn for the worse and now they are just trying to decide when to remove the life support.

My uncle Pete died yesterday, and funeral is this Friday.

I am re-posting my prayer request again.

I am at a point where right now I would be happy with loosing all the money if it would mean my husband would turn to God 100%...I was praying earlier before all this happened for God to bring him to his end and he would surender to God.... This is a high cost to pay and I feel like its unfair.. but I am willing to do so if it means his true salvation.
My husband on the other hand says that if God brings us through this he will trust God more cause it will show that God is t rue to His word...I know this is not right to ask of God.. but.. but.. I am praying... just this once God... turn this sitiuation around to our favour even though it is our own stupidity that got us in it in the first place - only if it would mean YOUR name will be glorified.
My husband has been restless and is really beaten down emotionally which I hate to see. Please continue to pray for us.

Please pray for my surgery tomorrow. The doc will be going in to remove cysts, possibly polyps, and checking tubes, etc. Thanks for your prayers!

My boss's brother is still alive. The family was going to take him off of life-support this morning, but last night he started showing improvements! He is actually starting to wake-up for a few minutes at a time. They are talking about doing open heart surgery on him as early as Monday.
He's not out of the woods yet. He is still in ICU.

Praise God! I am home from surgery. Everything seemed to go very well. The doc removed some scar tissue & the cysts. Tubes are open & ovaries are good. Thanks for your prayers!!

Will you ladies please say a prayer for my best friend? She's around 9 weeks pregnant and is cramping/spotting. She has already had 3 other miscarriages in the past. Please pray for her and the baby. She will go for an ultra sound in the morning. thanks!

The last 36 hours have been rather interesting to say the least....
Yesterday shortly before we were dismissed from church, we were told that DH's grandfather was on his deathbed.
Five minutes later, we received another phone call saying that DH's dad was being rushed to the emergency because he was having a heart attack.
At this point, DH is asking me to round up our son & letting our pastor (his cousin) know what is going on. We quickly run home to pack for the road trip...not knowing what to expect. In a few hours, we arrive at the hospital shortly after DH's dad is getting out of surgery. DH sees him for a brief minute before being shooed out.
As we are leaving the hospital, we hear news that the wife of DH's cousin was having heart palpitations! (Can we say WOW!) Anyway, it's later determined that her problems are related to stess. Praise God!
The 3 boys (my husband and his brothers) and their families stayed with Mom at the house last night. We went back to the hospital today & received the news that DH's dad will most likely go home tomorrow. He had a couple of stints put in & should recuperate well. Praise God!
We decide to go ahead & come home as grandpa is still clinging to life. Both DH and I have jobs, etc. We get on the outskirts of town when we find out that grandpa is now dancing, conversing, etc. with His Maker in Heaven. It's both happy & sad. The memorial service will be on Friday. Please keep our families in your prayers as we travel & grieve. (It's a 14 hour drive & will be an unexpected added expense with already tight budgets).
Oh---may I mention that my DH was SUPPOSED to leave for 4 weeks beginning yesterday? His work had only changed it earlier in the week. God really knows and has really been working in the whole situation...with everything going on.

After lots of prayer and consideration, we have decided not to go the IVF route and to trust God totally in this matter. Please pray for our strength and peace. Please also pray that God will reveal to us His plan about adoption.

My old friend, was burnt badly 1/2 of her body...and she is being treated a burn center, she already has self -esteem issues... so please lift her up in your prayers.

Please pray for my nephews who have just started their exams that God will give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding on each subject and that The Holy Spirit will bring back to their minds all that they have studied.
