Well, this was the first time I've had any spotting so that is at least nice. I thought my periods might be heavier, but honestly the first one was SO light I called my OB's assistant because it was freaking me out. This one was pretty normal, my usual one day of cramps and then 3 days of moderate flow. Not bad compared to my non-bcp periods.

Well another successful month! Yeah! And I was double blessed, as it came one day early, Wed, and I am going on vacation on Friday, so I won't have to worry about pain while on the plane. Yeah!

Does anyone else feel starving-hungry during ovulation? I feel like a bottomless pit. I could eat and eat and eat. And eat. It's always like that with me. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced the same.

Hmm. I'm hungry!

I haven't noticed being extra hungry, but I have noticed more energy. I'll pay more attention to hunger next month!

So, this is the first time for me in a long time where my time of the month has actually started on the weekend. I actually prefer to start on the weekend so that I can be at home laying down/relaxing as opposed to have to be sitting up at work all day being semi-cheerful.

Since I started trickling Friday night, I was thinking Saturday would be my heavy day. Saturday was really not so bad, so I thought I was getting off pretty easy this cycle. Not so much. Now here it is 4 AM and my cramps woke me up. Ugh. So I just took some ibuprofen and I am sitting here with a heating pad, eating cheese and crackers, and drinking female toner tea. I hope all of tomorrow is not this bad.

I am so sorry... Every 4-5th period I get off easy. The rest is always full blown. And I hear you. Every month for the past 6 months I have started during work, and I have had to leave for 1 hour lunch and lay in my car until the meds kick in.

Congrats on another successful month! Sounds like you might be ready to head over to the TTC board, though! I know I have been the same way... sad AF has come, but glad we avoided another month. We plan on trying in September though, so not long left!

I am at extreme freak out mode right now about not preventing. It has been fine because it has always been in a few months, or a year, but now all of a sudden it is next month.

Yikes!

And I am not in any better position than I was when I pushed it out 6 months ago.

Not sure what to do.
Just wondering what you decided about that.

We stopped preventing in May when we decided that I should take a very generous (voluntary) severance package at work. I will be employed through next April, so hopefully something will happen between now and then.

Well I am taking away a day every month. LOL! So instead of preventing for 7 days, I went down to 6, then 5, etc. So we still prevent some. :)

I am really focusing on getting my weight down right now too. I am not in a good position if I did get pregnant. So I am not sure what we are going to do.

Reach, I too want to lose some weight and be healthier before we even try. The thing is we want to not prevent sometime in October. For me, that's not a lot of time. Not unless I really push myself. I just love food too much. Oy! But you know...I've done it before so I say I can do it again!

But the thought of me getting pregnant at my current weight makes me cringe.

Reach, thats a good way to get yourself into that next step and I guess your hubby likes that idea more huh?

Trish, your going to start trying in Oct that is cool :)

I think I am okay with the idea of getting pregant but I am a not on that side yet... still preventing until God lets me know other wise

Well if having baby some baby fever is an indication that you are ready then I'd say that's a pretty good indication. I'm looking strollers.

The thing is that we have found some debt that we had no idea about. Will have to take care of those before trying.

I'm with you all on getting my body in shape... I've known when we'll start trying for months now and haven't really done much. Sigh. I really need to start! I know I'll kick myself if I haven't made some serious progress by the end of summer.
