I thought it was ironic that Glenn Campbell (a true arkie) played a "too big for his britches" texan in that movie. But of course, the stars of that show were, "The Duke", and "Little Blackie" Anyway...we are glad your back among us! My favorite was J. Noble Daggett.

He was quite a sleazy little character wasn't he? Reminds me of some of the small minded, shortsighted specimens from my profession. What about yours, Mr K ?

ORIGINAL: pauljackson YES I DO!!! Shot by a friend of mine down in TX years ago. He gave it to me while I was preaching a Crusade in his town (Conroe) after his wife was saved at one of the services. He's an Aggie, but we have been good friends ever since. They just celebrated their 25th. The HOG is still on the wall right here in my den, where I am watching my beloved Yankees having trouble with the sox. My Rotty loves to growl at it! I thought the razorback was extinct. L5MAN...Great to hear from you again. Son, you need to talk to some of your budds out there where you live. Wild Hog is big game in Central and west TX. ..south TX too. The Javelina they have down there don't grow to be quite as big as the Swamp and Bush Hogs we have in AR. The big boar is also raised in captivity on a limited basis. TUSK, the UA Mascot calls a farm in Dardanelle (Yell Co), his home. In case anybody is wondering...that is the same Dardanelle of Yell County, mentioned by Kim Darby in TRUE GRIT. I thought it was ironic that Glenn Campbell (a true arkie) played a "too big for his britches" texan in that movie. But of course, the stars of that show were, "The Duke", and "Little Blackie" Anyway...we are glad your back among us! Oh, I know that there are wild hogs...I used to trap them in AR. Here in East Texas, they are over-populated. We even see them IN TOWN from time to time. I just always heard that the Razorback was single breed that was hunted to extinction many years ago. My info may be wrong though. You know, it's kinda like you are told things as a child and you believe it to be truth until some wise man like Paul comes along and puts you on the path to truth. Paul, where can I go to order your new CD?

A little bit of an AR reunion at GOGR this weekend. It was great to not be the only ARKIE that deep in Volunteer country. However, the Knoxville Gospel fans were great...and very kind to us Hogs. AR Travelers that I saw while there: Ed & Ellen Marsh / She's an Honor Roll Pianist...plays beautifully (I pastored his Mother for many years - led her funeral - good friends) Randy Byrd / Blackwood Brothers (a Baptist PK like me) All of the Melody Boys (past and present...think that there were 6-7 there..of course Gerald Williams is a Hall of Famer) Jerry Kelso / Dove Brothers (another PK - AG - attended Southern Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, with Roger Bennett) Winston Yates / a wonderful FAN from Paragould, AR READ more about our experience this weekend at the GRAND OLE GOSPEL REUNION at my blog LINK in my Sig below!

My Dawgs won today but I was at an all day singing so all I could do was just get text messages about it from my wife. I'll watch a replay on CSS on Monday, I hope.

I hope your team and great coach have the outstanding season you are expecting. I hope we take off our clown suits and look like a football team before the season is over.
