Well, we have been known to leave the cat in charge when we leave the house.

Well, according to most cats, they're in charge even when you're there.

Mine have trained me well...

And they are even gracious enough to allow me to stay in their house...

What a coincidence, Phosy! Mine let me stay in their house as well - and I'm well-trained to boot. I feed them when they want to be fed, keep fresh water in their water dish, buy cute little toys to entertain them, and at times, I've even been known to buy them kitty treats (my way of begging them to let me stay).

They hate me. And let's be totally honest, there have been many tynrants overthrown in history. Cats get away with everything, and everyone just loves them! There is no justice or honor with them. GIve me freedom!

Go figure...

Blaming the cat isn't going to work at the Great Judgment Seat.

I thought they once were useful for getting rid of mice and other vermin. At least the females were. The tom cats we've had merely stared at anything disgusting and left any dispatching of bugs, etc. to us, the servants.

My cat is for keeping my dog in line and behaving.
She makes sure we let the dog out of the bedroom in the morning. Checks on her when she is in the backyard. This slaps her around a bit. Ignores her the rest of the day.

She has yet learned to open doorknobs and drive a car. If she did we'd have to slap some restrictions on her. Thank goodness cats don't have thumbs.

Growing up, my kitty let me know how much she loved me by coming to my bedroom window with the critters she had caught and popping her claws on my screen until I went outside to praise her.

When I was in college, my Nana's kitty used to bring rats and mice to her screen door, so that when she opened it, she would push the critters out of the way with her door, which aggravated her kitty to pieces. Somehow Nana just didn't feel the love the way I did.

I had a kitty that knew I was looking for Momma Hamster who had escaped leaving 12 baby hamsters to die of starvation so when Kitty found her she brought her and put her on my husbands Pillow.

Sadly, the Hamsters neck got broken in the bringing so Momma hamster did not make it either.

I made sure to praise the kitty for it's help.

My Honey did not appreciate it though.

I think I would have been stiffling a smile at that one, too. "Oh Honey, let's clean this up (chortle)... no, I wasn't laughing, REALLY! Excuse me, I think we're outta milk. Gotta run to the store.... (snicker)"

See, kitties are purpitraitors of sinning.
