I'm sorry to hear that Archie is having problems. I do so much like to hear him sing. It would be unusual for them to lose a new singer like Darren Osbourne so quickly. Most of their singers stay around for a long time giving them one of the most consistent sounds anywhere.

I think that Darren was actually their third or fourth substitute tenor over the last few years; however, he was the first of the tenors officially announced as a group member.

I was just on the Inspirations web site and noticed that they have released a new CD "How Great It Is." Has anyone heard it yet? I have put this one on the must have list. There is an acapella verison of Amazing Grace on this one. Can't wait to get one.

well, let me say first that it is so awesome to find a group of ppl that love the Inspirations almost as much as me j/k. No for real I am close personal friends with all the boys and they have meant more to me than I could ever tell them. On a sad note in case you didn't know Matt Dibler is no longer with the group. Please pray that God will bless during this period of transition. I am not at liberty to go into details of the reason that he is no longer witht the group, but I can say please pray for everyone

I think you are referring to Daron Osborne who has filled in for the Inspirations over the last four years off and on. Daron was hired for a short time but financially put a strain on the group trying to pay for two tenor singers. So he is once again filling in for the Inspirations (lead and tenor) ocassionally. He did not ever make a recording with the group.

Yes Matt Dibler personally gave me the demo before it was ever made and before anyone could buy it. I just talked to him today and he really needs alot of prayers. So everyone please remember him.

hey, I too got a free copy of this CD and must say it is really good. The Rose is my favorite along with other great ones like He's still setting my place, This Trial, and How Great it Is
