I would have to say "Monuments" I just love that album. Followed very closely by "London" I also really enjoy "God's Been Good" it may end up being my favorite.

ORIGINAL: L5Ropeholder Well, I know what you both mean, but that isn't keeping Roger's songs alive either. Pick some songs other than featured by Roger. Sorry, but those were my favorites. He was my favorite vocalist in the group. I do like "I Have Been Changed" and "I Stand Redeemed," but I think they're still doing both. Other than that, my favorites were Roger's solos.

ORIGINAL: L5FanLady I'm sorry to say this, but it's just the truth. I had the wonderful privilege of having Debbie Bennett on my Yahoo Messenger list. Also, I found Chelsea snd Jordan on Facebook.......I admired her late husband, and still do, and I wanted to befriend her as much as I could via the internet, and, well, long story short (and I don't have a clue as to why this happened) I have been shunned by the whole lot of them!! Ok, there are some serious issues here. I have to air my grievances. My only sin and crime is that I have tried to be their friend. She is off my messenger list! Sure are a strange bunch! Not so nice after all. I am heartsick and hurt by this!! Don't be hurt, Tina. There are ALL SORTS of reasons people have to restrict their "friends" groups, and it probably has nothing to do with you personally.

Consider the hundreds of emails she probably gets in a weeks time. I am not in a position such as her and I get 100's of emails. You cannot respond to all of them. Lighten up and give her a break. Do you think Roger would appreciate the words that have been posted here about his family. I don;t think so.

Amen, and it is for that reason that I ask that we move on. This is about Legacy Five, not the actions of the spouse of their former pianist. Can we get back on topic please?

Has anyone heard Frank Seamans sing " I Know A Man Who Can" I have, and I think his might just be the best version i have heard, but maybe i am a little biased. I wish they would put that song with him singing it on an Album with some Old Cathedral classics on it, kinda like "Songs We Used To Sing" but maybe call it "Songs We Used to Sing II" lol just a thought.

Frank told me earlier this year that L5 would be releasing a CD sometime this year that featured only piano and bass for instrumentation. Maybe I Know A Man Who Can will be on that CD. They obviously have the vocal arrangements already worked out for the song based on the link that Aaron posted.

Ok, I took a little breather, enuf to stand back and look at the problem. First off... quote:

Also, I found Chelsea snd Jordan on Facebook.......I admired her late husband, and still do, and I wanted to befriend her as much as I could via the internet, and, well, long story short (and I don't have a clue as to why this happened) I have been shunned by the whole lot of them!! Ok, there are some serious issues here. I have to air my grievances. My only sin and crime is that I have tried to be their friend. She is off my messenger list! Sure are a strange bunch! Not so nice after all. I am heartsick and hurt by this!! I believe I was out of line for the above bolded statements. Since I posted this comment publicly, I will apologize publicly. I'm not so sure why I was so emotional about it all; I know Roger would definitely have something to say to me about this, and if he should find out in Heaven, I will surely get a talking to when I get there!! I really don't know her reasons for backing off as she did; I don't believe I did anything that would send up any red flags, if you will: I made a point to myself that I would not be a nuisance to her, and I believe I kept that. Perhaps I'm not the most socially skilled person..... Anyway, Ms. Debbie, Chelsia and Jordan, if you read this: I was wrong for those statements I bolded above, and I know I cannot change what's already gone out my mouth (Or fingers) but I can only humbly apologize for 1) having jumped to conclusions as to why you drew back, and 2) posted it publicly. I am now apologizing to you all, please forgive me! I still care for you, and I will pray for you, but I will not bother you anymore if that makes you feel better. Ok, I just stopped by to update this whole situation. I still would like to be a blessing to Ms. Debbie and family, but I guess I just don't know how, though.

Hey guys! I had the opportunity to attend a Legacy Five concert last night! We drove four hours to get there, and they sure put on a great performance. The church was packed - they even set up folding chairs down the isle!!! We had a front row seat! I had the chance to talk to Frank Seamans and request I Stand Redeemed. He told me I was the third person to request that song and he would give the request to Scott F. My sister (who came with me) asked him when would be the best time to get a pic with the group. He recommended intermission. L5 opened with O Say But I’m Glad and went into The Moment I Get Up There and Strike Up The Band. Scott Fowler announced that his brother and sister-in-law were there and so was Tim’s parents. Tim received a standing ovation for his piano solo In My Heart There Rings A Melody. They had everyone sing What A Day That Will Be and Because He Lives with them, then Tim sang God’s Been Good. Frank did a spectacular job introducing Hello After Goodbye. The love offering was taken next. So I was expecting the ushers to pass offering plates/bags, right? What did they come walking down the isle holding in their hands? . . . KFC buckets! Maybe you have seen them used at other venues before, but I never have . . .and boy did it strike me funny! As hard as I tried to stay focused as the pastor prayed, visions of drum sticks danced in my head. Now, I consider myself a fairly seasoned concert goer (I counted 48 last year) but I have never seen KFC buckets used as offering plates before! J At intermission, my sister and I made our way back to pursue a pic with the group. When we arrived at the table, it was buzzing with people, so we stood off to the side to wait for a free moment. Frank saw us waiting off to the side and announced to the other three at the table, “We need to take a picture with that young lady!” - He then took on the arduous task of getting Scott Fowler’s attention. After a number of attempts, he instructed my sister to walk over and fetch him. When my sister returned without him, the guys knowingly remarked, “You couldn’t get him, could you?” Later on, I was crushed to find out that Scott snubbed my sister. She felt really bad and I felt even worse. Anyway, Frank made sure I was well taken care of. Glenn bid me to come behind the table with them and Howard instructed me to “stand right here”. The guys were friendly and funny, they really seem to appreciate their fans!!! The second set started off with the fan requests which Fowler had written down on a piece of paper. They did What Faith Does, God Will Go, and Peace. They sang some old songs around the piano like Go Right Out and Jericho Road. Fowler said they wanted to do a song they had never done before to get ready for NQC - Every Morning. Scott took his Bible, mic and mic stand to the center of the stage. While trying to talk, get his mic on the stand, and hold his Bible, he dropped his mic. Quickly picking his mic up off the floor, he told the audience that reminded him of something that had happened to him in Canada. He said, “Up there in Canada they have the world’s largest mall, and inside that mall there is a 50’s diner. They had the mini jukebox’s on the tables where you put your quarter in and select your song. Well, I love Elvis Presley and as the waitress came to the table to take our order, I was singing along with the Elvis Presley song that was playing and she looked at me and said, ‘You better keep your day job.’” The entire audience roared with laughter as Scott gave them a puzzled look. L5 closed the evening with a powerful Truth Is Marching On. My final review of the night: I wish Scott Fowler had been friendlier, however, the other guys took really good care of me (especially Frank). Although they didn’t sing I Stand Redeemed, Peace made up for it! They were really wound up on stage and after driving four hours to see them - I was very impressed.
