if it is locked, you need a lock-picking rogue.

I can send boxes that I pick up to my rogue or my bro-in-law to open. Boxes you can't pick up, just pass them by.
Did the quest giver give you a key? Check your keyring.

and sometimes you have to be careful where you put the pointer. At the bottom of The Great Lift there is an explorer who was killed there. You have to pick up his journal. If you click on the poor dead dwarf, you get nothing. You have to click on the book itself.

But that is books. With chests and boxes, that's not an issue.

jewelcrafting comes in very handy when you can make gems for sockets. Skilling up takes awhile. I am only half way there.

Engineering is a hoot. Also takes awhile but I now have a robot squirrel and there are guildmates having a blast with ROFLcopters. And some gadgets have warning labels, that they may work in reverse.

Skinning and mining are good money makers. Also, if you don't make stuff you don't have to carry or store a bunch of materials.

I have differant toons that do differant skills, that helps. All material now goes to my tailor. All leather to my leather worker, all motes to my jewel crafter, etc. My poor blacksmith, he is still a nOob.

You can also opened locked chests as a blacksmith or engineer with silver/gold skeleton keys and small/large seaforium charges respectively. But, yeah, rogues have the easier time of opening locked stuff.

If you still need signatures for your charter, i'll be happy to make a toon there. Add "Kekal" to your friends list. That's my favorite name for making an undead priest! ;)

Just a little side thing if anyone is interested. I'm starting a Horde guild on the Bloodhoof server called The Underhand. If anyone wants to sign the charter and hang out in WoW it could be lots of fun. The character's name is Ikzu right now he's a lvl 8 Troll mage. I need four more people to register the guild. I'm usually on during the day if anyone wants to sign.

What do you say?

The BGs can be made of win, but many times they are made of fail for alliance. At least that's my experience

Pick up groups can fail miserably in battlegrounds. It is a good way to get gear, though, if you have trouble grouping for raids. The best part is that I usually play with my husband and what a differance it makes to have a team. And when the rest of the family gets together for a pre-made, we are really hard to beat. Yes, we have been pawned but that is what keeps it interesting.

One of the keys is to talk to each other....

BTW, Nealfan... I didn't know about engineers opening locks. Thanks for the tip. Can an engineer send a key to a non engineer? My engineer is my gninja gnome rogue, cenarius, so she opens locks anyhow.

Ran a dungeon with some guildmates last night, helped with a few group quests and then went to pvp a bit... I think m'love and I are getting to be known....Since we almost always run together, when he goes in for a "pummel the horde" attack, someone comes looking for me!
Last night, over and over it was, find the healer...keep her busy, kill the shammy and then kill the healer. By then the rest of the team showed up and I was in the gy.

We still ended up as top DPS and Healer, though...(grin)

mage's are so differant... you can't play them like a tank or DPS (learned that one quickly) I have a 29 frost and m'love's is a 29 fire. Some times I do a commo-kazi run through a group of horde, give them all frozen-feets then blink, turn and spam frost... unless they catch me as I go screaming through.

nah, only my rogue is twinkish..and even then I could put more damage into her daggers. The thing is that I play with a partner and we support each other.

jkdjr25, I made an undead priest on your realm with the new guild and added all the names listed on wowarmory.com to my friends list there, so that I could get an invite when they logged on. The only one that I ever saw online was no longer in the guild. Are you planning on playing the characters on this realm or trying another one? I will send you an in-game mail also from my priest. Check her out at the armory link below:

So, I am a member of a Yahoo! group called "Christian RPG Players" though I rarely ever post to it. I found it while searching for information on the old 1980s board-and-dice RPG "Dragonraid". Yesterday, one of the forum posters says he is in the process of developing a Christian MMORPG to compete with WoW but also as a tool of salvation. Just thought you all might find this interesting. I know I've thought of doing the same thing but have balked at the time and money involved. The group URL is as follows:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/christianrpgplayers/

Any idea how can I get past level 350 blacksmithing fairly easily? I'm stuck making Adamantite 1 hand axes to level and they take a billion Adamantite bars to makle each. I have a few nice recipes awaiting me at level 360 but am struggling to get there...

350 seems to be a tough place to get past with many crafting skills. The best thing I can suggest is to make alot of gold and go to the auction house to buy the materials. My jewelcrafting is building so slowly, I am anxious to start cutting gems instead of buying them.

ON the plus side, my engineer can make exploding sheep!!! They don't work as well as bombs but it is very funny to even think about it.

Figures...I finally level my Orc Warrior to 40 and they drop the mount level requirement. Oh well.

I didn't know that they were changing the level to get the mount. My short legged gninja gnome will be so happy. Now, to get a battle tiger or a robo-chicken?

A dwarf on a robo-chicken? That is about as strange as seeing gnomes on Elecks.
