That's part of what I remember when I first met Denny. Him and all the talk about the portapotty.

I think he's still trying to get used to the thought of the new setup......and I think he doesn't like it either!

Ohhhhhhh, well......it's not like we have a choice, right?

Hey Trish.... If you look at the top of your page, there is a link that says "My Forums"... that's comparable to the message center in the old forums...

Somehow, we'll get this... I just know that Fritz is working hard to iron out all the bugs... we should keep him in our prayers...

Love ya Sweetie!!!

Rach

Ok, why didn't this show me I had unread messages on here?

Hi Rach, Mo and Karlie. Great to see you all!

Karlie, sorry to hear about your mum. Praying.

Rach and Mo, I hope things are going well for all of you.

Mo, how's it all going with getting things all sorted and packed?

Thanks Trish :) She has a very positive outlook and a deep faith in God, and I know He has his hand on her. Just a little scary for me.

Hang in there, Karlie. I've been where you are. My mother had breast cancer, but at the time wasn't a believer. It's tough for us, because we want to see the best for our loved ones.

Having a strong faith in the Lord will really help her, along with all the love, prayers and care everybody gives her. I know that you won't leave her lacking in that department. If you ever need to talk, just let me know, ok?

This probably sounds like a really stupid question, but how is your mum taking this? I was kind of in shock when I found out what they'd found with me about 5.5 years ago. I'm hoping not to be going through that again right now, but hopefully Tuesday afternoon will be able to put my mind at rest when I go back to oncology. It wouldn't be to the degree that your mum is going through, but still scarey.

Enough about me though.

Thanks Trish. She seems to be handling it very well. She is a very positive and unbeat person and feels that God is in control and has a plan. The rest of the family is much more concerned than she seems to be. She has always handled hard times with a smile and peace that amazes me. We still don't have any real details yet, so I'm trying not to worry too much yet.

Sounds like a good idea, Karlie. I know for me, I freak out a bit, but once I know for sure what I'm up against, it makes things easier to fight.

I think it's the not knowing that has me so stressed. I just can't even begin to imagine not having my mom here. I have a hard time not letting my imagination run away with me sometimes.

I cried bucket loads when my mum was told that she was dying. As we only want the best for our loved ones, it is hard to imagine them not being with us. As you said though, you don't have a full picture yet about what's happening with her. When you found out something more definite, then you can deal with things better.

My ex-mil has lung and liver cancer and they haven't really told her anything except it's inoperable and incurable. They gave her no time limit or anything. She's doing great and is a believer and is living her life to the fullest right now.

Well, I'm finally here! Was trying out some signature things only to find out I don't know as much as I thought I did.
