Best: Henry Fonda in "On Golden Pond". This is one of the best performances by anyone anywhere.

Rhett Butler was a good dad in Gone With the Wind
(don't laugh its my favorite movie)
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade cracks me up with the father/son Dr. Jones.
worst? maybe the godfather.
