I haven't seen this. It's on my to see list. Thing is Angelina Jolies arm is so skinny it looks like it's gonna snap under the pressure of that gun she's holding in the ad. Don't ever want my children to get that skinny it looks awfully emaciated! Also want to see Dark Knight. Anyone seen either? What do you think?

I was going to see Wanted. The thought of Mr. Tumnus with a gun is simply awesome, and the commercials made it look like something I would enjoy. But I generally don't watch R rated stuff. I may rent it when it comes out though.

I'd recommend that if you avoid R rated stuff...don't even see the DVD. Wait till it's aired edited on USA or TNT or the like. It's a hard R, both regarding violence and a couple of unnecessary scenes (that even involved secondary characters). The action violence is quick and stylized (but not the main character's training, that goes on far too long), and I guess one could fast-forward through the other scenes.

I just saw Wanted a couple days ago. It was a very engaging movie and better than I thought it would be - I don't usually like action flicks. It is, however, very violent (as might be expected from an R-rated movie about assassins) and has unnecessary sex snippets. It's worth going to see, but I probably wouldn't watch it again.

It was OK as an action film with a good ending.

I left feeling kinda disappointed though.

Jolie looks so gross in this movie. I would never want anyone to look that thin.

yes, the poor woman, someone should give her a plate of spaghetti, you know home cooked. I feel for the woman, she would be so lonely and she has many issues however it would be hard for her to find the apropriate person who could work through them with her.

I read in a gossip mag (when I was waiting for a massage), that she was asked by a writer what she wanted to do and it was her who told the writer she wanted to do action because she felt she needed to let some aggression out. Guess the writer would've spiced it up knowing the past rep she's had with attraction to the dark side.

Yes she looks way too thin, though she has a lovely face, her body has never been very attractive though, don't think she works much on it. How does she handle the gun? It would be interesting to see if she knows anything about guns for starters. There are many action films where the people don't know how to use their guns. Like they don't hold them right and they leave their sides wide open, don't check over the shoulders before the draw and sometimes draw from over their head (which is not tactically right) and just look inadequate with them. Anyway that's being nit picky as I get sometimes in my endeavour to embrace perfection .

How was it ok with a good ending? Why did you feel disappointed? Are you able to identify a set up and pay off? The set up would be the enciting (I call it enticing as well ) moment or the dramatic question.

Ok I understand if you don't know what I am talking about. I am at writing school and this is why I am aware of these questions otherwise I wouldn't have a clue. Is hers the only point of view or is ther another character who has a point of view?

I really like action films, though I would way prefer ones that bring hope and the bad guy cops it. Only without cliche's and that is possible. Also for a film to draw you in it needs to have a good set up or enciting incident or inticing moment and then that needs to be payed off with an answer.

I was disappointed by most of the film. I expected more, and the only part that made me smile was the beginning were the dad hit the X and the end where he hit the X.

To be honest you never really got to know any of the characters. Everything happened too fast. And I guess for how it was advertised, I was expecting better action & fight scenes (I understood it was going to be like the matrix).

I got bored during the film, and started wishing I had seen Hancock like i wanted too.

Yes I want to see Hancock as well. If Wanted hasn't got much of a storyline then perhaps I shouldn't go and see it.

I liked it a lot.

It's my favorite action film thus far this summer.

Again, I think the best comparison for it is "Sin City."

If you liked that you might like this.

Never watched sin city. Name turned me off. Still I am watching a lot of films these days because of the screenwriting diploma I am doing.

I actually don't think it's anywhere near as gory as Sin City.

Sin City was much, MUCH more gory than Wanted.

Thin is in, lol. Wanted looks pretty lame based on the previews. It looks like a Matrix rip-off. Dark Knight looks spectacular, I want to see that. I should have waited instead of seeing Hancock which was a HUGE disappointment.

Wanted disappointed me because it was very different than the comic and it was just overall a mediocre film at best, from a production, directing, writing, and acting standpoint. The cinematography, stunts, and special effects were brilliant. I don't worry about content in films. I can take it or leave it as far as that goes, so don't ask me if you're worried about that. As far as a film in general, I'd give it a 2, maybe a 2.5 out of 5.

I was in turmoil over seeing it, but I did. It was ok. The action scenes were just so far fetched, but they were fun. Angie my dear did look a tiny bit too skinny, I say sarcastically. Out of the last four I have seen(Iron Man, Hulk, Hancock other 3) this was the worst. I expected more from the effects, but it failed to deliver for me.

I still haven't seen it, but I question the director's casting choice, then again, I think it was made for Angelina and I must also remember that not all people see people the way I do, as equals. Some lift people to status which they are nowhere near acheiving nor are likely to. I know if i ran into a skinny person like that I could floor them in a very short time. It's not the type of person who gets it over anyone. My neighbour she's skinny like that and I hear her screaming " I'm angry I tell you!" "don't make me lose it I'll wreck ya!" all this other stuff that just makes me cringe. She'd snap if I touched her. One time she was screaming at police when they were searching the place. Like one of those really small dogs barking and you feel like stepping on it.

On a happy note hope Angelina and the children are well, must be hard for her in many ways. Hope she has a good feed and feel like she is able to eat. You know some people may be rich and famous but they have other struggles. One is to stay thin. It is actually a type of poverty, to feel led to not eat.

What was Iron Man like?

I finally saw Wanted last week. It was ok. I must say I was a little disappointed overall. It had some good scenes, but like reach pointed out, it moved a little fast in moments. I wasn't happy with what happened at the scene before the last one. The beginning and end with the X's were good, but I wish they would have also showed it in forward after they showed it in reverse.
