C'est manifique! Did you catch the picture with the man in the trenchcoat flashing in it? That was a first for me to see that in a model train exhibit.

Yeah, I got a laught out of that one, but I don't think he was a flasher though. More likely, it's supposed to be on of those guys trying sell off a boat-load of fake watches and jewelry before they start turning green. Either way, it's a first for me too on model layout.

Don't those guys usually open only one side of the coat? But then, since they don't show it from the front we'll never truly know.

My uncles house was almost all (I mean all) a hand laid narrow gauge railroad. He had all the detailed brass engines that Denver & Rio Grande ever ran including some logging Shays w/ full action. The switch actions were all hidden, the yards looked like yards. He was a model railroader. Myself, I had a 4x8 table with several levels of action (city, mountain, mountain town) in HO. I learned wiring making it all come together. I learned electronics customizing the engines and rolling stock. The railroad was the Saratoga - Llygas Creek & Western. That layout was passed on and I have moved on. I desire to make a 4x4 or 3x6 (or 8) N scale layout. Now if this economy can just rebound, the new railroad will do just fine.

The one above it has what could be a shopkeeper checking out a woman's butt as she bends over to pick something up and the wind catches her skirt. For a second, I thought the very first picture was a shot of the outside of the building the display was housed in. I was thinking, "wow, they load in to this show w/ tractor trailers? Must be a big show." I remember I used to have the switch house model in the 5th picture. Mine was a bit more lop-sided, though, and not painted as well. -Dan.
