One of the ladies, who is over the children's ministry at our church, asked me a couple of months ago about stepping down from the welcome table leadership position for children's ministry. She said that she felt that God was leading her to contact another individual to take over that position. She said that I have done a good job in the couple years that I was over it but that it was time for a change.
I'm involved on the prayer chain, which I receive by email, and I work one weekend of the month in security in children's ministry but that's about it. I've been praying for direction, in the next step that God would have me be involved with and I'm not receiving anything from God concerning this issue. I have always been involved in the churchs I've attended and it seems weird that I'm not as involved at this time. I was thinking that God wasn't allowed me to be involved, for the past two months, because I needed a break. I work full time and I attend night school once a week, in the evening, towards my degree. I'm just asking for prayer that the Lord will show me soon where or what He wants me to do at church. LOL,

Pray the promises of God even when you do not see how they are to be fulfilled. Pray w/the simplicity of a little child & believe that He'll answer your prayers.
