Long story short my spouse recently graduated from Regent Law School. We moved back to the St Louis area and he had been working with the firm that he did his internship. Unfortunately they came upon some financial difficulties and was not able to hire him on full time and now his part time status with them is ending. We just found this all out today, and we are late already on bills due to lack of work. I've been searching for a nanny job or at this point just about any retail type job to help pay bills, but haven't found anything. Please Please pray. This is one of the hardest times for us and there have been many. I so appreciate that I can come as a Christian and talk to others.

WoW, that does sound exactly like your situation. I will definitely keep you guys in my prayers as we all trust in God for our needs and follow his will for our lives! Thank you for your encouragement. If you'd like, I would love to keep in contact so we could update or encourage each other when needed. Is there a email or message thing through this site? Crystal

I'm sorry to hear about this crystarose24. I'm wondering, are there Regent Alumni in your area? If so, can your husband see if there is someone who might be interested in hiring a qualified Regent grad? Maybe he can check with their career center or alumni association (sometimes they have lists of grads). Or perhaps they can even give you a lead on a job? Also, have you checked indeed.com and craigslist for your area? I've also heard a lot about mystery shoppers. I haven't done it, but it might be something that you can get into quickly - maybe you can check it out or ask other people about it? Here's the craigslist link. Some of their job leads are bogus, but not all - and it is much better than monster or some other sites. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/ Also, have either you or he started thinking about temp agencies? There might be some legal temping that he might be able to do to bring some money in while he's looking for a job - or you might be able to do some sort of temp work yourself. Again I'm sorry to hear about what happened - and I wish you the best.

my spouse recently graduated from Regent Law School. Well, I have my written and oral qual. exams ahead of me, then a dissertation, before I can attain the status your husband has (Regent U. graduate). I already have work, thank God, and am eager to see what God has in mind for me in another year or so ... Meanwhile, I will be praying for your family.
