If you can't type out the URL from scratch, then open up that web page in a browser window, right-click on the URL in the box at the top, and choose 'copy'. Then open up a reply to message window/new message window here on FCN. Above the box you type in are several buttons, click the one that says 'link'. Right-click and paste the URL into the 'URL' box, and then type in the name that you want to call it in the 'URL Name' box. Click ok and then complete your post.

I just go to the web page. Then I go to that white window on top of the computer screen and highlight the website address. I cut. I go back to crosswalk, start my post, then when I get to the part where I want the link, I press the link button. I paste into the website window. Then where it says URL name I say HERE or THIS or whatever I want to call it. Then I finish writing my post. Then I post my post. THE END

No, highlight and cut or copy, THEN click link and THEN paste your info in the 'URL' box that will pop up after you click 'link'.

Forums I just tried it by highlighting the white box above, then copy and paste it into the link box on the second line, removing the http:// part of the link, since that part is on the first line, then entering "Forums" on the third line. This is the first time I've done this, before I typed the whole link and almost always made some frustrating errors.
