Extreme as in the X games? Or extreme as in those guys who get dropped from helicopters to ski virgin snow or surf humongous waves? Some of the X games stuff looks like fun if I were 30 years or so younger.

Nope. I have too much wisdom to try an extreme sport (says the girl who took up figure skating at 27 yo.)

What do you mean by extreme sports? Some of what they call sports really aren't. They're just grown ups doing stupid things.

I do want to do an Ironman triathlon. Not sure if you would consider that "extreme". Certainly not something that you wake up one day and decide to do. My first half ironman is in one month. The full Ironman is a good 3 or 4 years away at the soonest.

I would try nude skydiving. Just to defy the laws of gravity.

Yeah, because you really want windburn down there.

I would do regular, fully-clothed skydiving in a heartbeat.

If you're talking about the extreme sports in the X Games....well I love watching the snowboarders in the winter doing the freestyle events and then the bikers and skateboarders in the summer doing the freestyle events also with the tricks they do......I wish I had the guts and the abilities they have to flip and turn like they do.

I sk8-boarded quite abit, until 16yo then we moved to the country and pavement wasn't nearly as good out there. Rode dirtbikes and ATVs but never did any of the crazy stunts those guys do.

I love to watch BMX racing and guys who do really cool skate boarding tricks!!! As far as me actually doing them, well, let's just say I am kind of gravity challenged... I did try skate boarding once, after I took out about five of my guy friends, they suggested I quit, still not sure why...

I first got on Alpine (downhill) skis when I was 13 and haven't missed a winter since (I'm in my mid-40's now). I spent my last two years of high school as a club racer. Now, my kids are as into it as I am.

I had a period of about twenty years in which my work involved something cycling-related during the summer and something ski-related during the colder months. I didn't get rich by any stretch of the imagination, but I still found the work rewarding and satisfying.

I was a Ski racer for 8 years of my life as well. Downhill was my favorite. Going 100 K's down the mountain flying for 20 meters. That's almost extreme! I could see my self extreme skiing, I've a bit of it. But i don't know about skiing off Cliff faces with parachutes.
I don't ski anymore, I'm into surfing now but I don't surf 40ft giants haha.
