Either: - click "quote" on both posts, copy one of the quotes to the other posting box, and close the extra box, or - click "quote" on one post, then just copy/paste from the main thread whatever you want to quote from another, enclosing it in the QUOTE tags. If you want, you can add in the "Original: SoandSo" on your own.

what I do is usually quote the first one I want to quote. Then copy and paste the next thing I want to quote. While it is highlighted hit the quote button above and it will quote it.

Zoe - thats how I do it too. quote:
ORIGINAL: ta_mosquito - click "quote" on one post, then just copy/paste from the main thread whatever you want to quote from another, enclosing it in the QUOTE tags. If you want, you can add in the "Original: SoandSo" on your own. I type in the name that I'm quoting too for clarification. quote:
stampinlady: Thanks. You'd think I'd know hwo to do this by now. I've been a member for as long as you have an I only learned how to do it a few months ago. I probably could've learned it earlier, but I didn't think about it until one time when I was trying to respond to several posts at once.

I just tried using Zoebob's method. All it did was open a second reply box with the quote posted twice. The only way it works for me is to quote original person, then go to main thread, highlight text, copy and paste it into the reply box, then if necessary, add the quote codes at beginning & end.
