I just found out those Bachmans stabbed (him killed, her critical but stable) at the Olympics are good friends of my parents' neighbors and are major figures in their church. Plus they were extremely nice people well loved by both the men's and women's volleyball teams. (Not only are the in-laws of the men's coach, they're also parents of the former women's coach.) There is also going to have to be some restructuring at the Bachman's (flower) business in the Minneapolis area.

Very sad.
