I am wanting to get a Bible for my son(s) that they are able to read, or at least mostly read. They are 5 and 4 years old. My 5 year old is reading on a mid-first grade level, and my four year old is probably on a beginning Kindergarten level. I found a lot with a search for Bibles for beginning readers and got a lot of results. Just wanted to see if any of you had one that you'd recommend.

When my son was in Kindergarten we got him a Phonic Bible from CBD (Christian Book Distributors). It was what he used to learn to read and read it until the cover fell off and pages fell out. It was a bit deeper than a story bible but not a full bible. It was purple while cartoon like characters on the front. I am sure if you go to the website and search, it will come up if they still have it.

coolfamily, that sounds like a great book. I first got Kali her bible this year because I wanted her to have one she could read and understand. I didn't know there was anything like that. I will have to check it out for my little Kay.
