Rosie O'Donnell's "variety show" that aired last night flopped BIG time. Story HERE

I guess the whole liberal/leftist hate show that they tried passing off as a "variety" show brought the results that stuff always does in the free-market: failure.

Air America on TV.. ha.

I didn't watch it because I am not a Rosie fan, but the reviews I read said the show was horrible. One person even asked, "Could the show have been more gay-friendly?" That's why I didn't watch the show.

I watched the end of it, it was pretty bad. I liked her old show and she has done a lot more funnier stuff than that.

She should have invited Donald Trump and that show would have won sweeps week. ; )

I didn't watch it. Rosie is loud, obnoxious, and a bully. I guess from what I read about the reviews, no one had a "gay" old time.

In my humble estimation, Rosie is a flop or actually more of a plpp.

Thanks

I hadn't even heard about the show beforehand, and even if I had heard, I've got better things to occupy my time than watching big mouth socialist Rosie. Besides, I didn't want to get sick.

What was NBC thinking? It's the same mistake ABC made when it gave Howard Cosell a variety show. The formula calls for an appeal to a broad range of viewers.... something Rosie lost when her inner demon child emerged.

I thought the classic formula for a variety show was to make it something the whole family can watch together. When there are too many off-color jokes and comments, that kind of defeats the entire purpose, so of course it's not going to succeed. What were they thinking?

I guess Rosie blogged that the show isn't coming back. I don't know where her blog is, so I haven't checked that.

They weren't. One look at the guest lineup proves that.

They were thinking alright.. with their leftist liberal mindsets.

Liberalism is a mental illness. Yeah, I said it.

Congratulations. Any other lines you can swipe from Sean Hannity, or are you capable of an original thought on your own?

"Original thought" meaning any of the left-wing groups/individuals such as: Bill Maher, Al Franken, Air America, MSNBC, CNN, etc..

Right.

We're all biased, including you. But unlike the figures/outlets I mentioned, I do not pretend to be unbiased.

Doesn't matter who said it if it is true!

I may have to make that a signature line: "Liberalism is a mental illness".

By the way, I listen to Sean every day and have never heard him say this exact line. Granted it is an obvious statement, but he makes the same point with different words. On the other hand, I have heard Dennis Prager make a statement very similar to this.

There is a reason that liberals are less happy than conservatives and are more prone to suffering from depression, and Rosie is a prime example of advanced mental deficiency brought on by radical liberalism.

That is because he never has. But I am sure the poster listens to him and watches his program faithfully.

I've heard Limbaugh say this a million times, but I'll bite: according to what psychological data has there ever been a correlation produced between one's emotional state and one's politics?

Otherwise, this claim is just product of mindless generalization, which is pretty much what I'd expect from a recovering pill popper like El Rushbo.

By comparison, I've heard schizophrenics make more sense.

No, meaning a conclusion you have come up with on your own, and are not parroting from an external source.

Actually, I think the notion comes from a 2007 Gallup poll where more liberals (Democrats, actually) self-identify as having Fair/Poor mental health, and significantly fewer report having Excellent mental health than do their Republican counterparts.

Of course, one could argue George Bush drove them crazy.

It's called BDS - Bush Derangement Syndrome. And no, it's not an original thought. I just don't remember where I heard it.

Thanks, but that's it? A poll?

Not any more.

I'm just hard-pressed to see how anyone's politics have a direct causal link to one's overall mental health, without considering all the other variables that go into defining whether one is happy or not in their own lives.

Despite being a conservative myself and occasionally wondering what on earth liberals are thinking ;) I really must question the validity of asking people how sane they think they are and then taking them at their own opinion. *ponder*

Based on the facts and plain ole common sense, it is a conclusion I have come up with on my own. But of course you won't accept that because it does not jive with your own beliefs and bias.

Such is the beauty of free-will. We're free to be as dumb or informed as we want to be.

And getting back on topic - so glad to see Rosie fail at yet another venture. She is so adamant about pushing her homosexual agenda that it is costing her what little is left of her career.

When will Hollywood and the mainstream media "get it" that the majority of America is not composed of liberal leftist homosexuals. Regardless of how much they want to push a certain angle on everything from comedy shows to reality shows on VH1, E!, etc.. the bulk of Americans are not 35 year old gay and living in a Wicker Park condo in Chicago.

Earthless that particular lobby is very rich and very powerful. Until the first one changes that's how it will be. : /

I haven't seen this latest show, but I don't think her lack of popularity is due to her homosexual agenda. She isn't funny, she's angry, and she's a bit crazy.
