Has anyone else read this book? It was written by our own R.C. James.

It is the story of his early life, how God called him and sent him. How he learned about spiritual warfare and fought with spiritual darkness and powers in the hills in the interior of Mexico. I loved it. It is one of those books that you can't put down.

I'm wondering if anyone else has read it and what you think about it.

I read the welcome and an excerpt on the website & fully plan on pirchasing it & reading it. It sounds like a very interesting story, even if rcjames prematurely called me arrogant & never apologized in another thread (oooh, owww, duck feathers still a little ruffled, but I'll get over it).

Seriously though, it does appear to be an interesting read that I am looking forward to obtaining.

I just got a PM that ask that since I authored this book, if I would post here on this thread, so I will.

If anyone has any questions about "Deliverance of Sara", I will be more that glad to answer those questions. If the answer would reveal any pertinant plot information or the ending; then I will PM the answer.

(And by the way Ducktalks's feathers have been unruffled)

Thanks
RC

Yes, feathers are smooth. God oiled them and reminded me that ducks need to practice a little humbleness themselves.

I read this book in less than a day. Admittedly, I am a fast reader but none-the-less, I just could not put this book down!

I would recommend that all churches have a copy of this testimony in their library for Spritual Warfare reference and every Christian should purchase a copy (if they are serious about knowing the complete truth of God's Word that is). Scripture speaks for itself within the pages of this book and you will definitely be enlightened to God's Truth (which may even surprise you) as the story unfolds......

So many Christians are living deluded lives and believe that Lucifer (Satan) is a wee man with a red cloak, carrying a pitch fork but this could not be further from the truth. Lucifer is alive and actively possesses many souls who are entrapped in his snare. However, our Lord is alive and active also and He has given Christians the means by which to help these souls be delivered from terrible bondage......

Demon deliverance is not just a case of speaking a few Scriptures and the demons will flee (as this book clearly teaches) and on reading 'The Deliverance of Sara' you will find that despite Lucifer and his minions being mighty - our Lord is ((((((( ALMIGHTY ))))))) and has given us the weapons of His warfare to break the chains which enslave so many.

Q How would I sum up this book?

A It has left me praising God for His wonderful saving power, His amazing grace and for the remarkable ways in which God sends His Truth and Light into the most darkest of situations to 'set the captives free'.

All I can say is: "Hallelujah ((((((( Praise the Lord ))))))) for this wonderful testimony regarding a few of God's faithful servants who caught a glimpse of the power of God over darkness and depravity and the rest...... well you'll just have to read it for yourselves!"

Fab testimony.

When Pastor R.C. James put the shared chapter under his signature. I had saved it to favorites.
The story just gripped me and I had to get the book. I finished it yesterday. Yup I surely could not put the book down and also had a nice flair with his humor.

If you haven't read it, you should. I am now waiting for the sequel, lol

I have read it and, honestly, it disturbed me. If it hadn't disturbed me I would have had serious doubts about it. I went into this with an open mind from both the theological and literary perspective. I am a pastor, but I am also an avid reader (my degree is in Secondary Education with an English/Language Arts major). The following is my opinion, as unbiased as I can be as RC has been a friend of mine for a while now.

You will either put it down and dismiss it outright or it will change your way of thinking forever. You will have no other choice if you finish it. I'm afraid too many people will put it down because it is scary; scary in the sense that it is true, and more frightening than any made up monster because of it. It brings to the forefront a battle that rages all around us that we are either too ignorant to see, or to timid to engage in. More times than not, we ignore it because we want to feel comfortable. This is not comfortable. I have a feeling RC did not intend it to be. This will do more than move you out of your comfort zone - it will flat out knock you out of your chair and kick you out of your comfort zone.

The account is moving, passionately told, and rife with both warnings and assurances. To be honest with you all, I have prayed more for RC and his family since reading this book than any time before. Putting this out there is dangerous to the enemy and we know Satan does not like to be put on the defensive.

I wholeheartedly urge anyone who wants a more full understanding of spiritual warfare to read this book. I offer this not because RC is a friend of mine (a friend which I am profoundly grateful for), but because everyone needs to see the extent of the battle that is raging all round us. We need to know that the disturbing is real and all to common, and we need to see that our Lord still reigns, and that we are more than conquerers through Him that loves us.
